A good buy…..
I bought this to go with my new laptop. The primary function was to digitise my CD collection which I started on my old PC. I was impressed with the price and hoped for the best but need not have worried. It worked straight out of the box (Windows 11 home) and I checked its functionality with various discs. So far it reads CD’s and DVD’s well and I’ve already ripped a couple of my music CD’s. I also tried it with an old backup CD and a DVD I found from 2005 (yikes!) and it indexed and read those very quickly. It looks neat and tidy next to my laptop and I am happy with the length of the connecting cables, though yet to try the USB C connectivity. I have not tried and probably will not need to write to CD or DVD any more so can’t comment on that. All in all I am very pleased with this kit for the price, it does the job.

Nice unit
Was looking for an external cd/dvd drive and this one seemed to tick all the boxes, arrived quickly and out of the box it was so easy to install, just plug & play, the unit seems well made and although I have only used it a couple of times its just what I needed.

A nice combo disk player!
Honestly was very good quickly find the disk and was playing both videos and games from it just perfectly my only complaint and it a small one is sometimes the button to open the player sometimes doesn’t work first time maybe it was just my model.

Well-made external drive, easy to use and inexpensive
I needed an external drive for my iMac to turn it into a DVD player. The Antika had excellent reviews and has proved a first class piece of equipment- easily assembled and installed and not requiring an extra driver. It looks very good too, fitting well under the iMac. Great value for money.

Just what I was after for my Windows 11 laptop
Excellent! I needed an external CDROM drive to install some older games on my laptop, and this done the job perfectly. Easy to use, just plugged the USB in and it worked straight away, no need to install drivers etc.

Needs a Blue USB for power
It is ‘awkward’ that the power is a USB ‘C’ [blue, anyway] as the only connection I have ‘taking’ that style is on the back of my computer.It was the suggestion of somebody in Customer Services, in case you wonder why I ordered it – considering this last bit.I have yet to ‘write’ anything. I hope it will work but I don’t know: Hence the 3 stars.

My device made no installation problems whatsoever: Plugged it in and Windows did the rest – in 1 minute the drive was ready for usage and made no problems here as well. I tested read/write everything that is stated on the box, and it worked perfectly and even more silently than I expected! Absolutely recommended!

He comprado la Antika Grabadora de DVD/CD +/-RW es una unidad externa USB 3.0 muy liviana y bastante fina, en mi escritorio queda muy bien y ocupa muy poco espacio, la utilizo con un Mac M4 para grabación de discos y la verdad que funciona muy bien, también la utilizo para escuchar música, y va francamente bien, estoy muy contenta con su funcionamiento. Es muy fácil de instalar solo tuve que conectarla a un puerto usb del Mac y eso fue toda su instalación. Estoy muy contenta con ella, la recomiendo 100 %. Por ultimo decir que el envÃo fue muy rápido y bien empaquetado. Todo genial, estoy muy contenta con la Antika Grabadora de DVD/CD +/-RW y con el servicio de envÃo y gestión de Amazon. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Como todos los usuarios de los ordenadores Mac con poco tiempo, tenemos la carencia de un lector/grabador de DVD para proyectos antiguos o bien archivos que vamos grabando y tienen un cierto tiempo. Es mi caso ya que trabajo con diseño gráfico y algunos clientes entregan archivos que tenÃan grabados en este soporte, tengo otro lector pero básicamente es un armatoste con 2 cables, uno de fuente de alimentación que es un trasto.Buscaba un lector más liviano que no me ocupara mucho en la mesa de trabajo.En principio, me resultó que la descripción y foto se ajustaban a lo que buscaba aunque no estaba muy segura que fuera de calidad por el precio pero todo lo contrario, me ha parecido un producto muy bueno.Al enchufarlo está listo para leer o grabar incluso la primera vez que se usa, es muy intuitivo y fácil de manejar.Un punto importante es que es muy ligero y no usa alimentación, va unicamente conectado al puerto USb que es 3.0 , aparte el ruido que genera es mÃnimo, por supuesto que totalmente silencioso no es, ya que al leer todos hacen un poco de ruido.La velocidad de lectura está genial, nada que ver con mi antigua grabadora.Como desventaja no he encontrado algo que merezca comentar aunque estarÃa genial si el cable fuera un poco más largo.Lo recomiendo porque me ha parecido un producto muy bueno.Si te sirve el comentario dame un voto útil.
