    Incredible monitor for cost
    Wow, blew my socks off!
Managed to get this on Amazon renew for around £350. What a bargain that was!
Incredible colours, incredible dark blacks, excellent quality and sharpness for the price. I upgraded from a BenQ Mobius 27” curved. While it’s a great monitor with fantastic speakers, I’d out grown it as I use my monitor for both work (MacBook) and high intensity games like CoD.
I opted for the 32” IPA screen with adjustable stand. The IPA is much better for me, functions as a tv when I need it too as well. The input lag being so small on this monitor is definitely noticeable for me and is a vast improvement, no more issues with opps being able to shoot me before I even lift my gun lol.
If you can pick this item up on Amazon Renew then it’s absolutely worth it, easy to set up, and just plug speakers in through the headphone jack. To clarify the model I got does not come with speakers so you do have to drop maybe £70 extra on decent ones. I went with the Anker speaker as I have their lower end model and sounds great.

Amazing monitor with excellent HDR capabilities
Very happy with this monitor. HDR looks very good indeed and the screen is able to get very bright making HDR content really pop. As it’s a VA panel the blanks are inky blank too compared to the washed out blacks you’ll see on an LCD panel. Monitors far more expensive than this don’t have HDR or have a poor HDR implementation, so if you’re looking for a great value good performer that renders HDR content incredibly well, you can’t really go wrong here. Reading reviews about VA panels online, I was worried about the smearing effect but honestly, if you need a high performance camera to try and spot it, for any normal human eyes, you’re not going to notice it. I certainly have had no issues gaming on this and the high refresh rate will keep the pixel peeping idiots that need absolute perfection fairly happy I’m sure. Can’t comment on the speakers as I use separate speakers for my PC but I’d assume they’re fairly mediocre like most built in monitor speakers. I use a £30 Creative speaker setup which is more than enough for my needs. Also, the OSD when setting it up at first is a bit slow and fiddly but once it’s setup you don’t need to touch it again, so no big dramas there. Overall, an amazing monitor and for a price that can’t really be beaten given the HDR capabilities, nice resolution and inky blacks from the VA panel. As I say, for any normal human eyes I think you’ll be very pleased. Other reviewers seem to agree here as well it seems.
**UPDATE** This monitor does not have any built in speakers. As metioned in my review, not a problem as I use a set of external speakers, and built in speakers would probably sound pretty poor anyway, but thought I’d update my review to highlight their absence on this monitor. Still a great screen though, and everything I mention above still stands. Recommended.

    Solid gaming monitor
Stunning picture quality. Great value and has all the bells and whistles for a great gaming experience.
Massive upgrade from my standard office style monitor. Videos are crisp and vibrant with a decent HDR picture. The on screen menus and buttons are a bit lame but do the job.
Works great with 100×100 vesa mount

Great monitor overall, but mine had a small defect
The performance of the monitor is truly impressive, the colors are vibrant, the refresh rate is smooth, and it delivers an excellent experience whether you’re gaming or watching movies. Honestly, I was blown away by how good it looks and feels during use
However, the issue isn’t with the monitor’s performance or the brand, but it’s with the specific unit I received. After almost a month of use, I noticed a dead pixel in the upper-right corner, It’s a small flaw, but noticeable once you see it!
Aside from that, everything else has been perfect, and i’m very satisfied with the performance overall, but I’ll be returning it due to the defect. I might reorder another one because it really is a fantastic monitor when working properly

Sale or not, the value is hard to pass up on!
Coming from a much older 1080p monitor, the Q27G4XD was an incredible upgrade for me. Paying just £134.99 before postage, I’d say I got an incredible deal, very good value. The 2560 x 1440p resolution allows things to look super sharp, and going back and forth between 1080p and 1440p options in games really surprises me as to how much blurrier 1080p can seem, making 1440p a great, refreshing option.
Jumping from a 60Hz to a 180Hz monitor makes a very big difference, even in just general scrolling on the internet. Until I got to experience it for myself, I never would have realised how noticeable the difference truly is, and it only gets better for playing games. Rotating the camera makes it feel as if I’m turning from left to right in real life, it’s just that smooth.
The IPS display has wonderful colours, especially coming from TN displays. Where previously I could have gone slightly above or below my monitor and have the colours go all wrong, the viewing angles on this monitor are truly great. When going too far to the right or left, you can notice things go a little… darker(?), but ideally you wouldn’t be moving that far around the monitor when using it, so it really isn’t an issue.
I can appreciate the fast response times, inclusion of HDR, good selection of ports, and other features. This is a 27 inch monitor, and you should have seen my face when I first saw the box! I initially thought of the screen to be ginormous, but now it’s normal to me, and an excellent upgrade that fits perfectly in my setup. Very easy to set up with the inclusion of DisplayPort and HDMI cables in the box. Also surprisingly thin, which I can always appreciate even if I won’t be seeing it from the side too often.
The RRP sits at £179.99, but the monitor frequently goes on sale. Even at full price, I think the value you’re getting with this monitor is too great to pass up on.
