excelent piece of kit for the price.
I needed a remote to add to my shoulder mount camcorder rig, so that I could control the camera from the right hand grip, this provided a cable free option to do that. It does come with a cable connection as well should you need it. I also intend to use it in the cable free mode with the camcorder on my pole cam/crane set up, thus removig a long cable from that rig.

A handy Product for the Sony Fx6
I required a form of recording control from the Tripod panning handle instead of having to reach to the Fx6 to press the recording button. This wireless controller done the job perfectly. I can also use the zoom rocker control on the Aodelan to control the clear image zoom on the Fx6. It also allows me to control a few other functions on the Fx6. Being wireless by simply plugging the adaptor in to the Lanc port on the camera is great, as you donât have to worry about knocking or running cables, but if you want to connect via a lanc cable, then there is one included. It attaches to the tripod handle very easily and is very secure. Overall a good product and does what it states on the tin. Recommended.

Check Version number of firmware!
I have previous bought three of these. They are excellent for my Canon HF G70 and XF605 camcorders.However a fourth one I bought in Nov 2024 has been very problematic. After a few minute of operation the buttons start to ignore being pushed. Checking the firmware on the menu, it is V1.0, wheras all my earlier ones are V1.2. Consulting the Aodelan website there does not appear to be any way for a user to upgrade the firmware, so I am having to return the unit.

For the cost it is great value for money. Lots of functions and so simple to setup you donât need instructions. Clamp Allows the device to be clamped onto the control arm of a tripod or something similar so you donât have to touch the camera to zoom focus

Vorab: Die Fernbedienung ist Top. Beim Test wurde eine Canon HF G10 Kamera verwendet.Ich besitze schon eine Kabelversion die natürlich viel kleiner ist, dennoch hat die Funkversion für viele Anwendungen ihre Daseinsberechtigung. Ich denke hier an die Montage auf sehr hohe Stative, Kamerakrane oder zur Verwendung am Gimbal ohne zu viel Kabelage.Im Lieferumfang befindet sich:- Gebrauchsanweisung (leider nur in englisch und Chinesisch)- ein Adapter Kabel für den Empfänger (sollte der Empfänger selbst an der Kamera zu dick sein)- ein Verbindungskabel für den Betrieb mit Kabel- der Funkempfänger- und natürlich die FernbedienungDas Kunststoffgehäuse ist sauber verarbeitet und macht einen soliden Eindruck hier wurde kein billiges Plastik verwendet, die Haptik ist super und keineswegs billig. Alle Tasten und Schalter sind gut zu erreichen und geben ein gutes haptisches Feedback. Der Druckpunkt ist super gewählt und auch nicht zu laut (bei Verwendung in Mikrofonnähe)Das Display ist perfekt ablesbar, es ist in Monochrom gehalten, somit blendet es auch in dunkler Umgebung nicht. Zum Betrieb sind 2 AAA Batterien/Akkus notwendig.Die Funktionen sind eigentlich selbsterklärend. Es können Zoom, Blende und Fokus gesteuert werden. Im Einstellungsmenü können die Geschwindigkeiten in verschiedenen Stufen eingestellt werden: Zoom 3 Stufen, Blende 2 Stufen und Focus 3 Stufen.Die Reichweite des Funkmoduls ist bei meinem Test auf freiem Feld ohne “Publikum” oder dgl. mehr als ausreichend bis 20 m.Insgesamt eine tolle Fernbedienung gerade wenn unabhängig vom Standort der Kamera oder wie gesagt mit einem hohen Stativ oder sogar einem Kamerakran gearbeitet weir.
