Perfect for HomeKit compatibility
Worked straight out of the box, once initial setup was completed with HomeKit it works well and is very responsive (a second to respond to Siri commands). Brightness is great, comparable to our older hue bulbs.

Average…sorry!
First dip into Aqara for lights and it’s a bit average.First issue was pairing it with a Samsung SmartThings hub. Natively the bulb is in ‘matter’ mode and it took ages to get it swapped to Zigbee. You have to download the Aqara app, log in, then accept the bulb and swap its protocol.Now SmartThings can see the bulb it’s can turn it on and off, adjust the white, but it can’t do anything colour wise…I’ll keep playing with it and re-review if things change, but I think for the time being I’ll stick with Philips Hue, even if they are more money!Update – got working with HomeAssistant and now I can control the colour and brightness..so one step forward.

You need an Aqara Hub to switch to ZigBee protocol.
Beware, if you have Home Assistant and are hoping to connect this device to Home Assistant using the ZigBee protocol, then you will need to have an Aqara matter supporting hub.The bulb comes preconfigured to use the Matter protocol and can only be configured to use the ZigBee protocol by first connecting the bulb via matter to an Aqara matter capable hub and then switching the bulbs protocol to ZigBee.Had to return mine!

Comprata per sostituire lampadina di altra marca che dava segni di instabilità nella connessione. Finora si è dimostrata assolutamente affidabile, oltre che perfettamente integrabile nelle diverse piattaforme grazie al protocollo matter (la scelta tra thread e zigbee è alternativa, è bene saperlo, ed io ho scelto il primo per poter consolidare la rete esistente).

Hatte schon einige andere LED E27 mit hohem Farbwiedergabe-/CRI-Wert ausprobiert. In meiner Bogenlampe ist dies endlich diejenige LED Leuchte mit ausreichender Leuchtkraft.
