This security system was so easy to set up. I love how simple it is. The website on your app is only $12 to keep up with it which is an amazing price. It is super easy to set up and itâs so modernized. Itâs so cute. I love it. You canât even tell thereâs one here, but there is a sticker that you put on your window that comes with the security system so people know what I love it works amazing

Iâm very happy with this Arlo Home Security System. The setup was simple, even for someone without tech experience. The sensors are highly responsive, and the keypad is intuitive and sleek. I love that thereâs no contract required and that I can monitor everything through the app. It gives me real peace of mind when Iâm away from home.

Purchased NINE separate ARLO All-In-One sensors.Arlo Sales people WILL TELL YOU that you can get as many devices as you want and several hub stations to work altogether. However, the COLD FACT is that 99% of internet users can use ONLY UP TO 12 devices and that includes your modem, game players, laptop/cellphones, etc. So if you have 20 Arlo devices – YOU WILL DRIVE YOURSELF CRAZY buying and returning because ARLO products will not work consistently.Arlo products DO NOT WORK consistently. There are issues like: Timing out, battery runs out and won’t charge anymore, going offline – more consistently than working, “tampering” status often occurs when nothing has happened to the device.Arlo promises that the battery will work about one year – – NOPE! Three weeks for all NINE of them. So, go ahead and buy lots of batteries so your door, water/smoke/cO2 system will work.I would NOT recommend putting your life in the hands of Arlo products for leaks, fires, CO2 etc… The product is great at consistently NOT working.I DO NOT recommend Arlo. Go to the Better Business Bureau and your state’s Consumer Affairs to see the list of others who share my experience. After spending $1000s and wasting this ENTIRE YEAR, i realized IF i was going to buy Arlo, i am safer purchasing it from Amazon than Arlo.WHY? Amazon has a great turn around process. For example, it took ARLO 4 weeks of back and forth for a simple return. I had to fight and defend my honest experience and jump through hoop after hoop after hoop while Arlo support gives you ultimatums like, “If you don’t update your case in four days, the support team will close your case.” – – what about people with lives, jobs, families, etc??How come Arlo customers have to document every detail with the case to justify that the PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK?Amazon, instead… same day – no fight, no hassle, no waiting, no ultimatums, no insult to American people by having to engage with support reps who don’t even use their REAL NAMES!!!!!!!!!! They are Madonna and Denver…Amazon, has clear return policies, and the customer ALWAYS knows what to expect. So, IF you do decide to purchase Arlo products, (PLEASE DONT), then buy it from Amazon. It wont have to be a long drawn out ugly divorce from your defective product.

If you have arlo cameras and use their very advanced automation features, do not get this camera. Installing it will upgrade your account and you cannot get the old features back.For example, if you had one camera detect motion and start recording on other cameras, that is now gone. It is simply schedule or home/away based system. All the new features are gone.I have canceled my arlo subscription and that didn’t get it back. I even created a new account, but the new app always installs now.I have hear that arlo was changing their subscriptions this year, but did not expect that :(I will try to get by with this app now (no choice) but arlo has lost a long time customer.==============================================================================Edit:OK, changed from 1 star to 3. Turns out you can setup one camera triggering other camera recordings. The problem I still have is they changed the app from a camera monitoring app to an alarm system app with 3 hard coded modes (Standby, Arm Home, Arm Away). The system is always in one of those modes, and you have to setup all your camera actions, notifications, and a recordings for each device in EACH MODE! This applies even if you don’t have the alarm system. You cannot get the old app back.Because Arlo still has some of the best cameras out there, they improved the camera feed load time, and the new dashboard is kind of useful, I am keeping the system.========================================================================Edit 2:OK, up to 4 stars now. I’m keeping one to myself as I think arlo could do a lot to improve things. I am testing out using new functionality to have time schedules for camera notifications. You cannot have a time-based recording system, but you can change the motion detect sensitivity. I’ll update if that works.
