Great Monitor
I bought this for my son after an accident with his old one. He is big into I.T. and was very impressed with the quality, resolution etc., He liked it so much I have just bought him another one and he will replace his 3rd monitor with another one after Christmas so he has 3 matching ones. He uses it for gaming and also for video and photo editing and it does the job for all perfectly that’s crisp and clear with great colours. The stand doesn’t take up lots of room on your desk either so all in all, a great budget friendly monitor.

pretty decent upgrade over the VP228HE’s i have, although misleading with the 120hz. these monitors do 120hz but some reason its classed as overclock? i don’t understand why it wasnt just standard and was confusing to setup as the monitors after installation are stock 100hz for unknown reasons. but for sure fixed these damned console ports on my pc. beet having troubles with console ports not displaying correctly on my 120hz msi while my desktop was originally stuck on a 60hz monitor. so when i’d game on my msi it doesnt detect native refresh rates other than desktop rfresh rate which seems like a console port. and to fix it i had to purchase these beauties at a bargain price saving £128. well worth it. they’re so much better than the 60hz trash im now selling.

Solid gaming monitor at a decent price
Got this on Prime day. Primary use is with a gaming laptop with a 4070 so wanted the higher refresh rate. Very pleased with it so far. Picture is good and the controls are easily reachable on the bottom right edge. HDMI cable was included.
The stand isn’t great and I had to prop it up on some books to get the right height, might not be a problem with most desk layouts. There is only one HDMI input but that’s typical at this price point. I also got an EU power cable, which I had to swap out.

Works very well. Clean display no dead pixels. its not to heavy I am using this with a pole on a desk and its a second monitor in a vertical position. Good brightness.

affordable 144hz monitor
So my son has been playing with a 144hz 2k monitor and decided he wanted a 1080p 144hz one instead, The reason for that is so that he could play high refresh rate competitive gaming. First thing we noticed is that it doesn`t come with a uk plug which seems a odd thing for asus, has i have a asus 1080p 144hz monitor and that one did, although mine is the tuff version. The colours are great which i knew they would be on a ips monitor and was easy to setup, the only thing it lacks is the ability to use a vesa mount has there are no vesa mounts on back of monitor. Overall though a very decent 144hz ips monitor.

Wrong plug supplied with product, ASUS class this as “Grey Goods”!
This arrived with the wrong plug included, ASUS feedback is as below

I am really lucky that I bought this at a discount. The screen is very nice, and it’s perfect for a small desk. It still provides smooth edges with clear and great performance for gaming! I bought a second screen; it’s on the way already!

Good but needed an extra hdmi port
This monitor is great for the price makes my games look so good and high quality but I didnât check the hdmi ports I needed a monitor with 2 but this only comes with one . It doesnât stop me from using this good monitor the speed of the load up time is super quick and you can adjust its height to your needs overall itâs amazing for the price just needs an extra hdmi port in my opinion.

100hz good update in gaming (monitor is overall smoother, especially in gaming)

No dead pixels and minimal IPS glow
Comes with 3 years warranty (although I’m not sure if it’s useable in my country)
Nice design and decent build quality
Cons:
Text can sometimes look funny – especially in arabic (still readable, but i guess this will be standard with any other 24″ 1080 monitor)
Monitor wobbles when touched (although this does not scare me)
No speakers or headphone jack (I use my laptop’s speaker and it is fine)
Overall would recommend, best specs and quality for price point.
