Auraglow Battery Operated Motion Activated PIR Sensor Removable Cordless LED Security Light (White, without Batteries)

Neat appearance, easy to fit and works well
I wanted a light over my front door to help me locate the keyhole when arriving home after dark, I didn’t want to have to drill into brick walls, the door frame or canopy or need any wiring. The Auraglow light is perfect as it was easy to stick over the door on to a pvc frame (I did use extra pads from the single one provided). It’s been up for a week and works perfectly. I’ve angled it so the sensor only triggers as I am near the door and not every time a person or cat walks down the street, the way you can rotate the sphere to choose your own angle is a great feature and I like the way that the whole sphere can be removed from it’s base to easily access the batteries.

Nearly perfect battery light
The light came very promptly and was fairly easy to install. I first used the supplied double sided adhesive pad on a brick wall but the lamp soon fell off so I resorted to plain old fashioned drilling and rawlplugs. It’s a very bright light and works perfectly as regards lighting conditions and detecting movement. It’s far brighter than those little stick-on lights about 100mm square. The only thing I criticise is that the switch action is very poor and, in fact, the light turned itself off one time without being touched. That’s the only reason why I’d give it four stars rather than five.

Excellent for lighting smaller areas and also cheap
We’re in the middle of nowhere and have a couple of office sheds. Because there’s no street lighting it’s pitch black between them and the house. These little guys provide enough light to solve that, and are only on for a short period of time. They don’t get triggered at stupid distances or blind anyone. They’re easy to put up, and are still using the same batteries that were put in when they went up.Surprisingly, I’ve also used them as a torch a couple of times, because they clip in and out of their holders and have a proper switch.My sister was well impressed and she’s got a couple too, now.

Nice Bright Light, Useless Adhesive Back
Mixed review. If, like me, you wanted a light that you don’t have drill into a wall, I wouldn’t bother with these.The adhesive back seems strong and, at first, I thought it was great. However, after about a month I went outside to find this on the floor. Even though it’s in an area sheltered from rain, I’m guessing the cold weather impacted the adhesive and rendered it useless.I now just have it sitting on top of a cabinet. The light still works for the time being but because it’s not under the storm porch anymore, I expect it will become water damaged at some point.The light itself is bright and works well. I would recommend if you are using this indoors or if you can use a drill to firmly attach it to an external wall.However, if you want to use the adhesive for convenience, don’t waste your money.

Hay uno que se adjunta a una pared o techo y la luz esférica que contiene las baterías. Esto se mantiene en la primera parte y se puede girar para brillar la luz en diferentes direcciones.La luz esférica contiene 3 pilas AA y son fáciles de cambiar, pero no puedo decir (todavía) cuánto durarán.El detector es sensible, aunque lo lejos que una persona debe estar para encender la luz varía. Creo que podría depender de la temperatura.Estoy complacido con esta luz y compraré otro pronto.
