Product Description

Auraglow Plug in PIR Motion Sensor LED Night Light Hallway Safety Living Aid & Emergency Torch – Warm White
Everyone has a torch in their home, but you won’t have one quite like this.
With a plug-in magnetic cradle, inductive charging, 18 LEDs, a built-in 500mAH rechargeable battery and motion/daylight sensors, it automatically gives you the light you need, when you need it.
Wall or handheld – switch in an instant!
When it’s placed into the plug cradle, it functions like a normal wall light. But when you take it off, you can carry it with you as a powerful emergency torch. When used as a wall light, the body illuminates in warm white to add a soothing glow to any room. But when you switch on the torch, the front-facing LEDs emit a powerful 10 metre beam.
Always charged, always ready
When attached to the plug cradle, the built-in 500mAh battery is constantly kept at a full charge. And with wireless induction charging, there are no exposed leads or connectors. It simply sticks on like a magnet to stay powered and stay charged for instant use.

Motion sensor night light function
No more stubbed toes or knocked elbows when navigating a room in the dark. The built-in sensor with 3m range activates the light for 25 seconds when motion is detected. Perfect for bedrooms, hallways or corridors. Plus, with the daylight sensor, automatic activation will only occur when it’s dark.
Power failure emergency light
When there’s a power cut, everyone in your street will be plunged into darkness – except you. The light senses when the electricity goes off and instantly activates a bright glow to illuminate the room. And with the long-life battery, it will provide 2 hours of light from a full charge (although we hope the power cut doesn’t last that long). Plus, the detachable torch function gives you 1.5 hours of full-beam usage to go anywhere in the home with ease.

Customers say
Customers appreciate the night light’s brightness, with one mentioning it kept their house lit during a power cut, and its functionality, with one noting it performs well every night. The motion sensor receives positive feedback, with one customer highlighting its wide detection arc, and customers like its torch feature, particularly during power cuts. The design looks good, and the light stays on for about 30 seconds. Durability and value for money receive mixed reviews – while some find it well-built and worth the money, others report it failing after 6 months and consider it a waste of money.

Works great for us!
Writing the review now, as it has finally stopped working in September 2024, bought it in Feb 2021.I will definitely be re-buying this. It works great as a motion sensor night light, we have in in the hallway so we don’t trip over our feet if we need to hit the loo in the middle of the night. It’s bright enough that you can see, but not so bright that it’s jarring, and it only stays on as long as you would need.It also comes on non stop if you knock it off the holder, which does happen, my dogs knock it off fairly regularly, it does stick out from the wall a wee bit, but it’s easy to pop back on, and it hasn’t been damaged by falling off.It also has the feature where you can change the mode to be an actual torch, which is great if there was a power cut or something, you would find it immediately, as it comes on if it loses power and can change it to an effective torch, which will always be charged. My landlords were so impressed by it on an inspection that they added something similar to their fire safety plans for their tennants. Finally, it has now stopped working, but I think that for under £20, an internal battery that lasts over 3 years is completely reasonable, and I will be ordering a new one.

Wish I’d had this a long time ago!
I was originally just looking for a light sensitive night light for outside the bathroom when I came across this one. I’ve had it for just over 6 weeks now, am delighted with it and glad I chose this one rather than one that would stay on all the time at lower light levels, as I’ve had problems with those overheating in the past. The Auraglow, WILL go on during the day when it detects motion, if the light level has dropped sufficiently. Likewise, it won’t go on at night if it’s getting light from a lamp or overhead light but will light up immediately once these are switched off.It stays on for approx. 30 seconds and activates immediately it detects motion again at the right light level.I’ve found that being able to use it as a torch that is kept permanantly on charge, (as long as the socket is switched on) a real bonus too. You can have the torch in the warm glow mode, or a small side button easily changes it to a much brighter LED light. It slides in and out of the charger quite easily, so no fiddling about trying to remove or replace it, but best not to put it somewhere where it could get easily knocked off the charger and possibly get damaged on a hard floor. When I read the customer comments before I bought, one person had said that it could not be used next to a WIFI Booster Plug. The double socket next to the bathroom, is where I planned to put it but it’s also where I had my WIFI Booster Plug. Gave it a try but the two are NOT compatible directly next to each other! However, I needed the light just outside the bathroom, so moved the WIFI plug to another socket about 10 feet down the hall and both work perfectly at that spacing.I am very happy with the price, it arrived very promptly and I am happy with the seller.Would recommend ðð

Don’t be left in the dark
If you live where I do the least puff of wind can result in a powercut. I’m quite happy to grope around in the dark but others are not. At different times I’ve had various types of emergency lighting intended to cope with this contingency. This product provides a compact replacement to deal with the situation: one in the hallway and one on the upstairs landing. Furthermore, if you have achieved a certain age you are likely to have to make nocturnal sorties to the loo. You can set up this gadget so that it senses your blundering movements and turns on the light in order to illuminate your way. Finally, if the fuse or trip has blown you will need a torch in order to re-set it, and a torch that can be found. Just such a torch is built into this gadget and the illuminating part can be detached from the wall fitting. This is a good piece of design that meets a number of real-world practical needs.

Handy, stylish and a nice yellow glow
I’m so glad I bought this, it’s a brilliant little light, simple to use and does the job perfectly. The fact you can also use it as an emergency torch if needed is also really handy. I bought it because the light switch in my front hallway is at the wrong end so if you walk into the house you have to fumble around in the pitch darkness to get to it. This plugs into a socket by the door and give the perfect amount of light to stop me tripping over in the dark when I come home! I imagine it would also be a good nightlight, and it gives off a nice soft warm yellow glow rather than the nasty blue light lots of nightlights have. It stays on for quite a short time but that’s good as it saves energy, and the sensor is sensitive enough to pick you up when you need it.

Great product to light the dark corners
We bought this as we already had a couple of Auraglow standalone products. This one is a great idea and works really well. The motion sensor has a wide arc of detection and sitting in our hallway picked me up coming from all angles feels like almost 180 degrees. Also like the idea of it being a torch for power cuts and have used it a couple of times when just needed a handy light to check something out. Easy to just pick up, switch to torch mode, use as required and pop back into its cradle.Only slight downside is that as it plug socket mounted it is invariable close to the ground but that is more a function of my plug sockets that the product itself so still 5 stars. Will buy again no doubt.

Good but had hope for longer service life
Nice gadget sensitive detector and plenty of light for moving around the house. Ours has just failed, it lasted 2 years and 5 months.

My aura glow!
I went on holiday in Cornwall and this landing light-come-torch was a great idea to give light for 25 seconds or so without putting the main light on, so had to get one for my home. I feel my elderly cat who has sight impairment is benefitting from this too! Two years warranty comes with the plug in light/torch and gives off a warm light glow. Great product!

Non si capisce chiaramente che ha lâattacco per presa UK. Con adattatore rimane in orizzontale e se sfiorato cade facilmente. Per il resto come funzionamento e finiture è un ottimo prodotto
