Excellent audio quality
Very comfortable and light to wear. the build quality is good with metal hinges and headband. Audio quality is superb and better than Audio Technica ATM 50 and Shure 840. They need a decent headphone DAC to reveal their potential e.g. Ifi UNO at least. Driven properly the phones will reveal clean infra bass with no upper bass bloat as with other phones. The audio presentation is almost clinically accurate but never harsh.

Ridiculously good
Iâm not generally a fan of closed back headphones but sometimes they are a necessity. I bought these for the times when I need sound isolation, based on reviews and expecting them to be decent for their price. They turned out to be way better than decent with a gloriously clear sound that I can listen to for hours.Build quality and finish are excellent for the price and they are light and comfortable too. I have owned closed back phones that cost twice the price of these that were nowhere near as good to my ears. I was also astonished to hear details that even my Gradoâs donât reveal. They may be a little bit bright to some but to my 60 year old ears the balance is fine and distortion seems to be very low.I highly recommend them.

Great Headphones
I had been looking for a decent set of headphones to listen to vinyl with for a while. Had ordered a couple of cheaper pairs and sent back due to poor sound. More than happy with these. 3 metre detachable cable is great , very comfy on and sound quality is great – recommend for all you vinyl lovers

Improved sound quality from previous model.
Don’t go for Hi-X15 because I have just upgraded from Hi-X15 to the Hi-X20. After using Hi-X15 for 2 years. The sounds quality of the Hi-X15 is very good at the price point. But the newer Hi-X20 make the sound quality of Hi-X15 sound just good. The newer model makes it better in sound quality, from very good to excellent.Zero feedback on over the ears hearing aids compared to the older model, so improvement.Only bad thing is poor sound isolation from outside loud noise.More defined bass guitar in rock music compared to previous model which is the best improvement. You need to change the EQ to stop it getting to bright in the mix and hear the vocals clearly. The thing that improved in the newer Hi-X20 is more defined high ends and low ends, slightly flat mids, closer ear cups, and louder sounds. While keeping the same technology as the Hi-X15. Moderate improvements but worth it.Please note that they need about 20 hours of running in before settling as the previous model. (Or 1 -2 weeks)Using Apple music hi-res music, Fii0 KA5 DAC Amp and the Headphones with over the ears hearing aids on TV/music at home settings for maximum appreciation of music and using audiobooks, podcast, DVDs, Blu-rays and YouTube.

Not giant killers
I was on holiday and had my Chord Mojo and Poly with me but I’d forgotten to take a pair of cable headphones with me. I went onto “What HiFi” and looked up their reviews for the best headphones priced up to £200, ordered these from Amazon and had them next day. My everyday headphones are Grado SR325X so, nothing too spectacular. In essence, I’m not using Warwick Acoustics headphones at £2 or £3K as my comparatives so I don’t think my expectations are too high. These needed a lot more power from the Chord Mojo/Poly than the Grado. They also need more power from my Naim Uniti Atom HE. Using both the Mojo/Poly and the Naim with high a high resolution feed they lacked drive and failed to immerse me in the music the same way the Grados do. The sound is fine – it’s clear, it’s clean – I just don’t find it an exciting listen.Fundamentally there’s nothing wrong with them. They are comfortable to wear (which is more than can be said for the Grados). They’ve also a long cable that is detachable which is a bonus.I’m off to Scotland with my wife and mother-in-law shortly so I thought that, being closed back, these would be ideal. I could leave my wife and mother-in-law to chat in the front of the car and I’d listen to music and watch the world go by in the back. But I’ll probably give them a miss and take my B&W PX7 S2s and cable connect them to the Mojo and Poly instead.

I heard about these headphones from a colleague saying how great they were for the price, and they are amazing. Vocals sound great, highs are bright and the bass is tight and clean. Sub bass is also great on these. They are very comfortable and light and I can wear them for hours. These needed a little bit of time to âburn inâ in order to get them sounding great. They shipped with a nice long straight cable and a carrying bag that was in great packaging. They are extremely durable and they have a very solid feel to them. For the price, there is nothing negative about these headphones and they are easily the best you can get at this price point. I am very happy with this purchase.

Thereâs definitely something magical about this one. Without considering the price, Iâd give it 4 stars â very good. But at this price point, itâs absolutely a 5-star product.I also tried the Adam Audio H200, and this one is by far better. I have a specific playlist I use to test headphones, and with this pair, I ended up just listening to the whole song because it sounded so good. With the Adam Audio, the sound was very mediocre, and it felt uncomfortable the moment I put it on.
