Good for the price…
Received this item and after attempting to fit it to my ear I discovered it was far too small. I was very disappointed, but after realising that the earpiece could slide up and down to fit ear size, I was happy. This fits much better now, and the sound is quite good. I use it mainly in bed to listen to podcasts in the evening, and being able to wear it on either ear to allow me to sleep on either side is excellent.The sound quality is rather good for the price, although if you’re looking for something that produces high quality audio this is not the item for you. With my iPhone volume up full I can quite easily hear everything, although in slightly louder environments it can sometimes be difficult. If, like me, you’re purchasing this to use in bed or in a quiet area then you shouldn’t have any problems with it. Not recommended for use in louder areas. The volume is good for a quiet room but would be useless on a bus, for example.At the price I think it’s tough to complain about the quality of the product. It feels quite sturdy, and the adjustable earpiece is useful. It feels very comfortable on the ear, and so far I haven’t had any problems with it. The lead is quite long, too, and I think it would very easily fit into most pockets. I’ve had trouble in the past with earphone leads being too short, but this one is quite good.At the end of the day, it’s worth a shot if you’re unsure. At worst you’ll lose a few quid that you’d have probably wasted on something useless anyway, and at best you’ll have got yourself a bargain. As it’s suitable for kids and adults, you could always make it a cheap Christmas/Birthday gift for a relative if you find it not to your satisfactions.

Excellent value for money and comfortable to wear.
Are use this a phone for speech output from my computer, it is perfect, very comfortable to wear and the sound is good and clear. The sponge on the iPhone makes it possible to wear it for many hours which I have to do in my work environment. This is not for music, but absolutely perfect for speech.

Don’t bother
Brought 2 of these because they were low cost and I figured they wouldn’t last more than a few months. They arrived and the sound quality was awful and I am no sound geek. Won’t even bother with these rubbish bin should have brought Beats.

Edit: delivered 5th Jan, broke 5th Feb. Typical, a day after return window closed.I was just about to write a review about how the fit is really bad, I thought it was because I wear glasses, but even without the pad is higher than my earhole. This made the sound very faint and I had to end up holding it close to my ear in the right place in order to hear it. I had played with various adjustments of the arm that goes behind the ear, but that didn’t really help.I had been using it for a few weeks at my desk for those quick moments when I needed to hear something but didn’t want to get out or wear full headphones. But it wasn’t working well, I then spotted you can slide the round speaker bit up and down the black plastic shaft. This made all the difference, it finally fitted well and whilst a bit wobbly, it was fine for my intended use.The sound is ok, it’s not for music or for a noisy environment, but if you need a light, cheap, and fairly comfortable earphone then this ticks all those boxes.

Fine for what it cost
Completely what youâd expect. It does the job of allowing sleep-time listening. It adapts to either ear and is fine for the price. Not a high end product but not too cheap and nasty. The only real grumble is that the foam cover sometimes slips off the speaker.

Brilliant at the price
Another insomniac here! This one-sided earphone that can be turned to fit either ear is what I’d been looking for, having tried without success all sorts of devices to listen to my radio during the sleepless hours that a) would not fall from my ears, b) would let me lie on either side and c) would not wake my wife. This very cheap earphone is brilliant. So simple, yet so effective and comfortable. Hugely recommended.

Great value for money!
I got what I asked for and it works. It is in daily use and has enabled me to continue to listen to the radio in the wee small hours without disturbing the rest of the house, while allowing me to be aware of what is going on around me. It has one small irritation. The sponge cover for the ear piece is a loose fit and continuously falls off.
