Does exactly what I wanted it for but it might be less practical for others
It is very sturdy and stays up even with the weight of a phone and the ring lights.The charging on the lights is quite good, you have to be quite forceful with plugging them in otherwise they wont actually be charging. The settings on the lights are very good and varied.The remote control is the same as the lights in terms of plugging them in however I have had some difficulty with getting to reconnect a few times, not a total loss for me as I don’t need it for what I am using it for however, if you were to use it as just a selfie stick this might be an issue.It is quite stiff at first and the instructions are not the most clear but I did manage to figure it out. It just means it is quite difficult to bring the tri-pod all the way up.

Could be useful in limited circumstances
I was hoping for so much more.The head for the phone has an extremely aggressively strong spring that makes it virtually impossible to grip the phone without damaging the phone case or your fingers. Itâs even worse when trying to remove the phone.Additionally the only allows the phone to pivot left/eight, up/down or turn on the axis that the phone is pointing. If the phone is pointing downward it does not swivel on that axis to align the image if filming from above, so very limited in its use.The lights are the smallest led lights with very limited illumination and their batteries go flat very fast.Photos attached
