Surprisingly sturdy, easy to assemble
Easy to assemble straight out of the bag, all came flat inside lid. Remove the main crate and fold it out, add the base which is just a flat piece and put the lid on. No tools needed and takes 20 seconds to assemble.They felt fairly sturdy but my experience with these things told me they get more so with stuff in.Having had about 5 bags full of CDs cluttering up the place I decided to to put some in one of these boxes and was surprised that I managed to get 180 albums in a single box as 90 with 90 on top, what’s more it felt sturdy and the lid fit like a glove so I did the other also and I no longer have bags of CDs everywhere but 2 nice neat boxes which feel absolutely fine and are stacked in a cupboard neatly.I’m unable to find the weight limit on the instructions it just says to keep on eye on them which sounds like good advice.There are also some label bits which I’m yet to use but they seem easy enough to attach.It’s fair to assume that most people will be using these for substantially lighter items but hopefully that helps in as far as showing how well they will stand up to a bit more.For reference they are slightly bigger than a document box or roughy 2 cd cases high.At about £10 each these are in similar range to plastic crates but they look a lot nicer so I guess an option.I’d recommend and will likely buy more.

Light Items Only
As per my title, as long as you understand that these boxes are not made for heavy or sharp items then they’re perfectly adequate if a bit overpriced.I ordered the 2 piece set in beige which is a very light colour of yellow/cream so if it’s true beige you want be aware these are much lighter. As such they’re going to be easily marked if you live in an active household. The dumbbells shown sitting on the lid of these boxes is 100% bogus. Try it & you’ll find everything you put in there is now a flat pancake. The lid simply can’t cope with anything heavy, the card covered in woven polyester fabric is simply not strong enough. The sides of the lids are also floppy so we’re talking nothing more than clothing, linens, towels, & light blankets for storage. Leave the dumbbells well alone ;0)The boxes come flat packed with a stiff bottom piece that just slots in. This is pretty adequate & has a tab to pull it out again easily if you only want to use the box temporarily & choose to store it. The advantage is that these take up little room when flat.The handles are simple chrome holes that fit an average sized hand fine & seem strong enough. Mine came with a plastic covering that just needs tearing off.Light in colour, light items only, fold flat, easy to store.

Sturdy boxes for organising my wardrobe
This was a lot sturdier than I thought once I’d assembled it all together. The hard bottom piece is what makes these boxes keep their shape without bending and folding all over. I’m only using this for clothes, and I would imagine the handles won’t be strong enough to hold anything heavy. There are some quality issues with handles being off centre and stitch marks, but for its intended use, it works well. I’m able to stack these on top of each other in my wardrobe, which is a lot more space efficient. I can store more clothes inside my wardrobe and still keep everything organised.
