Traveling comes with its fair share of worries, and hidden cameras are always in the back of my mind when staying in hotels or rentals. This detector is surprisingly straightforward. Turn it on, scan the room, and it picks up anything suspicious, whether itâs a wireless bug or a camera lens hiding in plain sight. The flashing red lights and signal meter give an instant sense of control thatâs hard to put into words.I tried it at home first, pointing it at my TVâs remote sensor and even a phone camera to test how well it worked. It caught both right away. The compact size makes it pocket-friendly, so slipping it into a bag doesnât feel like carrying extra baggage. The build feels solid enough, not flimsy, and the interface is easy to figure out.The battery life has been reliable so far, lasting through several scans without a recharge. If anything, the device could benefit from a slightly more detailed instruction sheet for first-time users, but once you get the hang of it, itâs pretty intuitive. Itâs one of those things you donât think youâll use often, but when you need it, youâre glad itâs there.

This portable RF detector feels like carrying peace of mind around. Whether youâre in a hotel, Airbnb, or even your own office, it scans for hidden cameras and recording devices quickly. You just power it up, sweep the room, and check the alerts. No tech degree needed â itâs straightforward. It detects a wide range of frequencies, so youâre not left wondering if it missed something sneaky. The LED and sound indicators make it easy to use, and the sensitivity can be adjusted if youâre scanning bigger or smaller spaces.Travelers will appreciate how lightweight it is. It slips into a bag without adding bulk, so you donât think twice about bringing it along. The rechargeable battery holds up for long sessions, so youâre not stressing about it dying in the middle of a scan. For anyone worried about hidden devices, this tool gives quick reassurance. A few sweeps, and you know if your space is clear or not.

I decided to give this hidden camera detector a try because I travel often and sometimes stay in unfamiliar places. The device is compact, easy to carry, and very straightforward to use. Once powered on, it quickly scans the surroundings and picks up suspicious RF signals, which gave me more peace of mind during hotel stays. I also tested it at home just for fun, and it did detect signals from my WiFi and other electronics, so it seems sensitive enough. The adjustable sensitivity is helpful to narrow down sources. It feels solid in hand and comes in a discreet design, so it doesnât look bulky.

Utter garbage. I’ve tried a few of these detectors. None of them detect wifi so far (2.4ghz) but this one did not detect anything at all. Not my phone, not my wifi router, not 300-450mhz transmitters, and in magnet detect mode it didn’t spot a large neodymium magnet collection from 2mm away. The only time it beeped or vibrated is when it was first turned on. Returning immediately. Waste of time!

I travel a lot for work and always had that uneasy feeling about hidden cameras in hotels or rentals. This little detector gives me peace of mind. Itâs compact, lightweight, and fits easily in a bag, so I take it everywhere.Setup is simple â just turn it on and sweep the room. It picks up RF signals quickly, and the sensitivity can be adjusted so you can zero in on anything suspicious. I tested it at home by hiding a small camera, and the scanner picked it up right away. That gave me confidence it actually works.I also like that it doubles as a bug finder for wireless devices, so itâs useful beyond just travel. The rechargeable battery lasts a good amount of time, and charging is quick.
