The Belkin USB Type C to 2.5 Gb Ethernet Adapter worked straight out of the box and gave me 1.2Gb download. I would definitely recommend this adapter to anyone as it works flawlessly and the price is more than worth it given the fact it supports Thunderbolt and supports speeds higher than 1Gb.For reference, I am using this on a 2023 MacBook Pro and have tested it on both MacOS Sequoia 15.1 and 15.2 and in both scenarios it ran fine.

Worth the money only if you have a set-up that supports 2.5G
I got this in readiness for when I upgrade my network switch at home. The cabling is all Cat8, which is a bit OTT, but I wanted to try and future proof as much as possible, since I was hard wiring my cabling rather than using a Powerline set-up. So, when Iâm in the house using my Thunderbolt 4 equipped laptop, I can lightning speeds between that and my desktop PC that is in my garden office.It is a nice-looking adapter, if that is important to you, and I simply plugged it into my laptop and I way away. My internet speeds are restricted by my connection, so it was running at around 1000Mbps download and 52Mbps upload.I did test it with my intranet, but speeds were restricted by the current network switch. So not any real speed difference between that and the internet.You are paying a premium here for the 2.5G performance vs similar 1G adapter, which I have used previously, but for me it is about future proofing at much as I can.Being Belkin, the build quality is pretty good, but Iâm unable to comment on the medium to long-term reliability at this stage.If you need those sorts of speed now or want to future-proof your set-up, this does make sense. Does what it claims, syncs at 2.5Gb on Mac
I bought this to connect my M2 macbook to my network, Easy to use, but ethernet in one end, plug into computer. Recognised immediately and worked out of the box after configuring my IP address and subnet on the created ethernet link (on macbook). My router shows it connects at full speed and when I tried my FTTP broadband speedtest I got my highest test download speedSlik looking dongle with usual Belkin finish

Used to connect my 2.5gb network to my laptop.Full reported speeds, no fuss plug it in and it worked straight away (windows 11).Time will tell on reliability, but happy at the moment.

Simply doesn’t work, no drivers available from Belkin
After plugging into Windows 10, it just says unknown USB C/LAN device. NO drivers are available, Windows Update has no drivers and this is pretty much a useless piece of plastic.

C’est le seul qui fonctionne réellement avec mon s23 ultra(les adaptateur des autres marques concurrente ne sont pas reconnu par le s23 ou ne sont pas stable au niveau de la connexion), il est stable apporte une connexion supérieure. Le prix est assez élevé mais c’est une certitude il fonctionne.
