Handles the amps
I bought this to power my garage diesel heater. On start up the heater pulls approx 12-13 amps then drops right down to approx 1 – 2 amps. This power supply works perfectly. It copes great with the power demand of the heater and hardly gets warm. So glad I went for the one with no fan so don’t have to worry about the fan clogging up or making a noise. Highly recommended

Unsuitable for tyre air compressor!!
I bought this to power a Ring air compressor. I went through all reviews and manufacturers advice and this was supposed to be up to the job. Unfortunately, it is not capable of delivering the power to deliver the air to inflate a tyre. No use to me and I am returning it.

Compact 12v Power Supply
I purchased this converter to run a VHF/UHF mobile radio (Retevis RT95) from home. It produces a 12v output with up to 15 amps which allows the radio to transmit on high power and I have been using it for about a month now. Whilst the output voltage is not ideal for this set up (13.8 volts is preferred) it does allow the radio to function quite well. It is compact and silent (no cooling fan) and does not appear to generate any interference or noise on the connected radio when in use. It came with a car lighter type socket so I can plug the radio in using a suitable plug. I would recommend this PSU for this type of operation. EI7CTB

the current is good but the measured voltage was 11V dc. it may or may not affect your application
