Customers say
Customers find the cycling computer’s display large and clear with easy-to-read text, and consider it good value for the price. However, the functionality receives mixed feedback, with some saying it works well while others report it stops working after a few months. Moreover, the build quality is concerning, with reports of units breaking after two months and being cheaply made. Additionally, customers disagree on the installation process, with some finding it simple to use and install while others struggle with unclear instructions, and the accuracy of speed and distance measurements is inconsistent. The waterproof feature is problematic, as customers report water getting inside the device.

Very Good For The Price
This computer is obviously amongst the cheaper bike computers so it does not offer all the bells and whistles that you get with the high end models that include GPS, WiFi, and all manner of gadgetry. That said is is a good little computer that will show you, amongst others, the time of day, speed, distance, ride time, temperature, and it also has as stop watch in case you need that. If it goes dark it even has back lit display, but only at the press of the button and then only for a short while. In setup you can change between miles or kilometres per hour, between F or C for temperature, and between 12 or 24 hour time format.
It comes with everything you need to install it, ad it is very simple and easy to install following the instructions that come with the computer.
Though being very happy with this purchase there are a couple of things that I find could have been better. One of these things is that the actual computer is mounted with an o-ring that in effects act like an elastic band around the handlebars, or similar bar. I always leave mine on, but I imagine that if you need to take it off when parking the bike in public, then the o-ring elastic will probably not last for very long (I could be wrong about that but it seems that way). The second thing is that because the computer is only mounted with this o-ring, you will need to support the computer underneath whenever pressing the buttons, as the computer will otherwise just slide around the handlebar. These two things are not huge issues (therefore no reduction i stars – pay more money and you can get some very fancy brackets etc.), but just things I find could be made better with e.g. a proper mounting bracket, e.g. clip on/off version.
All said an done I am very happy with the computer, which gives me adequate information and adds motivation to my bike rides.

Much much better than I expected for the price. Very good.
I haven’t used the unit long enough to know how accurate it is over time, but on the three or four rides I’ve used it so far, it was a lot easier to read than the previous two units I’ve had at the same price point, and it has a much better build quality overall than I expected.
The instructions are not the worst translation from another language to English I’ve ever seen, and are easy enough to follow if you’ve installed something similar before, but they are nevertheless a translation and not always as clear as they could be. The section on where to place the fork sensor is particularly confusing, for example, and you might want to tinker with its exact placement after initial set-up, by riding alongside someone who knows their trip computer is calibrated properly, to offset the difference.
Apart from that the screen is sharp, with large enough text to read at a glance, and the menu layout is intuitive enough to move between each mode with one hand. The only minor niggle I’ve noticed so far is how long it sometimes takes to wake up when you start riding again, after you’ve been stationary for longer than the auto-shut off time.
It’s also noticeable that the mounting bracket supplied, which attaches the main unit either horizontally on your bars or vertically on your stem, is low quality plastic which is only held in place with a thin foam pad, and a rubber band â albeit a good quality thick one with plenty of give â but it will stretch over time and weaken nevertheless, and the plastic makes a worrying cracking sound when you clip the unit in place, which will undoubtedly fail after a while. Happily the grooves which seat the rubber band are wide enough for a standard 2mm cable tie, two of which are also included in the kit, and you should probably use them from the outset instead of the rubber band, and refrain from removing the unit from the clip unnecessarily.
I was also disappointed with the amount of single use plastic in the packaging, when cardboard would have been more than sufficient. But other than that, for the price, you really can’t fall off.

What Professionalism From Icocopro/West Biking Company From My Previous Review.
(Updated) What professional from the icocopro company on this wrong pictured which was a bit my fault for not reading the bicycle computers size measurements but after some discussion with them i was given a refund back to me on the item which i’am into west biking cycle items as i just like the logo which after being given back my refund on just one of the two west biking computer items which i had purchased the large screen with the green backlighting on it version which is on my brothers haibike mountain bike is a truly a 5 star cycle computer & at a price tag of £20.99 is totally recommend by me as the screen is big the leds are black & definitioned beautifully & easily readable with also a good quality garmin style handlebar connector which looks great on his bike & since we have put it on about seven of our cycle buddies now want one which we had told them where we got it from which i know they will be getting too (copycats) which now i’am into west biking cycling year even more now so i will be looking at there gear for myself more in the future, it would be nice if they did some kind of crantoni c-manic style of lightweight full face helmet & of a hi viz rooftop waterproof zipper style backpack as their own a lot of them out their apart from the profits niterider which i had read good & had reviews about so i’am undecided about getting one myself but i do love the triviz safety light idea on it which i have the waterproof equals backpack in green which is a great backpack but it doesn’t have any pockets inside of it for pens, wallet, phone, laptop etc which would be in every waterproof backpack so i hope that generates some good ideas for the icocopro/west biking company also it would be nice to see some west biking cycle decals/stickers on the cycle market soon some free ones maybe given away with one of their amazon items would be nice to have as i would love to have some for yeti mountain bike frame & for my helmet too which is great for free advertising for them from us cycle uses (i wonder if their is a job at the west biking company as i know that i would be great for them as i’am always full of new bike ideas & get back back to me please icocopro/west biking it their is one for me which & i do say i’am the dyson of the bike world, TRUE ðµðð) so i hope they do that too as i know that they are a up & coming bike company which i feel that they will be a big bike items company soon too just like the bike hope company was years & years ago. â ðððððððððð

In case you are wondering if itâs spin bike compatible and how to install it continue reading this review.
-YES it is Spin Bike compatible
-How to install it on spin bikes? : the only modification is related to the âsensorâ and the âmagnetâ.
You need to buy separate round magnets from your hardware store ( 3 to 6 depending on your model) that will adhere to all metal spin wheels. In case your wheel is not metal, make sure the magnets you buy have a sticky back to them.
In case your spin bike is a magnetic one, the sensor can be installed as suggested by the manufacturer parallel to the wheel with the magnets on the peripheral rim .
However, if itâs a traditional brake pads spin bike, the magnets cannot be installed on the outer rim ( not possible in view of the brake pads being in the way) but rather more towards the center. If the wheel has a flat surface proceed as usual but if the inner wheel is recessed, the sensor would have to be inserted âperpendicularâ to the wheel facing inward rather than parallel to it otherwise you will need a lot of magnets to be within 5mm from sensor. The provided zip ties were long enough to encircle the fat bike legs. You could on the other hand use 2 sided sticky Velcro to secure it in place. In a âperpendicularâ configuration, make sure the side with the âsensorâ engraving faces towards the pedals (although the opposite configuration might also work, however it will be easier to change the battery with the former).
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this review, I was not able to add couple of pics to better illustrate this as this option has been (temporarily I hope) removed by Amazon.
Also , I did the calculation to convert the speed displayed in mph to RPM for this particular bike (18ââ wheel) (often used in spin classes) and the numbers are rounded:
â- MPHâ- ââRPMâ-
10 60
12 70
13.5 80
15.3 90
17 100
19 110
Hope this help.

Seems to work fine, and a good price as a replacement for my old computer, whose display turned black, as can happen with LCD displays. Has all the displays that I need, plus backlit which will be good if I stay out till after dark (took a wrong turning or something like that).

Easily installed on my Giant Trance 29, if you have done one of these before, it’s the same install as the rest. Instructions lack a full table for 29″ wheels so I Googled a chart and used the 4 digit code that works for 29×2.3, no big deal. Hit the trail and it is easy to read with an excellent backlight when the sun goes down.
