It’s Logitech
I like Logitech stuff, though as the actress said to the bishop it’s much larger than I expected. It takes up a fair bit of desk space and the USB cable sticks out horizontally from the back of the microphone rather than downwards. Though it does remain within the bounds of the supplied tripod. I plugged it into my 2019 Intel MacBook Pro and it was detected immediately so no problems there. The laptops built-in mic seems to be far more sensitive than the Snowball despite having the input volume setting at max. I’m not sure that Snowball is a significant upgrade from the built-in mic for things like Skype and Teams. Because of its size it probably won’t remain on my desk for too much longer. Oh and the red power light is very distracting.

Great Microphone Quality
The microphone quality is great and for the price there isn’t many better alternatives.

Blue Snowball – A good enough mic
It’s a good mic overall, sound quality is perfectly fine for the price (~£40) and I’ve been using it for 6 and a half years with no issues with sound. If you’re a real audiophile there are of course better mics to be had for more money, but this is plenty good enough for casual use and sounds infinitely better than the little mics attached to headsets! It is however a bit bulky and I did manage to break the stand a little bit during transport, as the plastic inside that holds the metal socket for the stand in place is a bit of a weak point. My recommendation would be to always unscrew the stand if you pack it away.

Good on it’s own for a USB microphone.
For a budget mic for talking in games, discord and other apps. The BLUE Snowball ICE is pretty good except this is the one with no extra switches on the back to give the smaller decibels to reduce background noise or use omnidirectional. The package comes in box with the mic stand (tripod style) and the mic itself wrapped in a smaller rectangle box to protect it’s exterior. The mic is pretty heavy for it’s weight but that doesn’t really matter because it gives a good quality feel to it. The voice is pretty good when you just plug it in and work just like that if you use a audio interference or equalizers, it even produces a better sound quality. (If you’re into a budget mic with some fine tuning) this is a recommended mic I would suggest for mainly for the average user. The cable is long enough for you to put anywhere on your desk, and the size is pretty big. The comparison size would be your two hands where your fist are aimed at each other if you did not know how big it was.Overall, the item is pretty good and I would recommended it as help it’s cheap and give really decent to good quality with fine tuning or even on it’s own.

Amazing!
Hello . I bought this mic to chat in game and use discord and teamspeak.I’m no professional at audio . I’m a normal human with standard ears and so is everyone else I know what’s using seperate mics had enough of headphone audio get picked up through the built in mic .A fair few of us have blue mics snowballs/ yeties / snowflakes / samson go mics and meteors and even one with a razer mic costing 150 and to be honest we all sound around the same ish quality.Given the difference in setup and placement as that counts just as much I have a mic boom and pop filter In a heavily wallpapered room 16×14 foot in sizethis mic is all I could get in black at the time and is the only reason for buying it.I get excellent audio clarity talking to my buddies it picks up my voice and projects it out there rather wellIf I wanted better quality than this only an £80 AT2020 and a beringer usb mixer costing £40 and a £20 beringer phantom psu is the way to go . Not a yeti or a razer . My sources are common sense and youtube I would like to recommend all mics mentioned as good mics.the blue snowball the samson go and meteor mics as I listen to them daily and the price is right for any of the 3 . The yeti and razer is hard to recommend when better can be had for the same price

As good as people say
I would like to start this review by stating the following: I am in no way a professional when it comes to audio or recording equipment. What took me here to purchase this microphone is the fact that it seemed to already have fairly good reception by people and reviews, I then went ahead and ordered it to try it for myself as I decided to upgrade from my old “gaming” headset to a nice pair of AT headphones and a desk microphone. The microphone arrived in a nice box which is around a third bigger than the actual microphone, it was packaged very well inside and had a little manual as well as a tripod. The tripod feels solid and mounted itself to the microphone by screwing into the bottom, took maybe 10 seconds in total to install it. The microphone itself is plug and play, I just connected it to my PC and set it as the new default microphone in Windows. All of my software seemed to detect it and it worked great in Teamspeak. It is however very sensitive and will pick up everything and anything so it took a while to tweak it so that my keyboard is not picked up by it when I’m typing.Overall fantastic product and I would recommend it highly.

Me and my brother love this
Remember hearing about the blue snowball years ago from youtubers. And I’m not disappointed. Me and my brothers biggest pet peeve is bad audio when talking in games. But we’re not the richest. So when I saw this for so cheap I snapped it up. And my brother followed suit. All in all great. Only complaint is it needs a mute and power button.

It’s a good microphone if you are just using it yourself. If you only need it to capture audio in one direction, it does the job well. Even after having it for so long, it still works perfectly. It’s a good price as well. I use it to communicate with my friends when gaming.

This microphone is really value for money, for 3 reasons – 1) the sound quality is excellent (I use it to record presentations and media content as well as for zoom meetings, 2) so easy to set up – literally plug it in and immediately use – nothing to download, no settings to toggle with, everything is automatically detected and the mic can be used in all programs. No need for changes to any settings, 3) good build quality – the device is solid and feels like it will last a long time. My friend who recommended this to me has been using hers for 2 years without a single hitch

Good voice quality, huge durability.

I really enjoy my Snowball. Simple, works, and sounds pretty good. My biggest issue with the ice version is not having any sort of mute or gain control on the actual microphone. Whatever you do needs to be in-software. I originally bought for interviews for college, and worked well for that. Looks unique as well, although some companies are starting to copy the style now. Good value compared to a Yeti, thats for sure.

can’t go wrong, its a quick plug and play, and is better than any microphone i’ve tried at this price range. i would even go to the extent of purchasing a stand for it, until I end up getting a more expensive 300-500 dollar mic!
