Turn a normal handle into high tech security in minutes
Itâs not perfect but for the simple fact that itâs great quality and thereâs no change to an existing door/barrel makes the Blusafe handle an absolute win.The assigning of thumbprints is a bit clunky simply due to trying to remember what colour and beep means what.Itâs solidly made albeit a little bit oversized in every direction. Would be nice, especially for internal doors, if they made it a bit more subtle.The beeps need to have an option to silence them.The handle has a little bit of play (movement) in it which is a bit disappointing. Itâs only slight but does undermine the clear quality and design thatâs gone into the Blusafe.Overall though itâs worth 5 stars because you go from zero to 100 very quickly, meaning: itâs pretty easy to convert any door to fingerprint secure.The only fiddly bit was the cutting of the threaded bolt – itâs larger to cater for thicker doors.I also found the drill bit diameter suggestion of 10mm way too big. You need a much narrower hole for the main bolt to go all the way through and a slightly bigger (set 8mm) for the bolt caps to fit into.The instructions are a little hard to follow, unnecessarily so because itâs actually very simple.Itâs be nice if it had an app to administer fingerprints (and to be able to silence).Overall though you wonât be disappointed.Well done Blusafe.

Fingerprint door handle/lock
Iâm no carpenter but I have fitted a few door handles in the past-this one was one of the simplest and easiest Iâve done. It went on like a dream, setting it up took a few minutes, double checking the instructions etc. itâs important to get the first 3 exactly right as they are the âAdminâ rights users. After that itâs very simple. The end result is brilliant, so simple to open and yet itâs securely locked all of the time keeping little fingers and eyes out of our office. I wish I had done this years ago, reasonably priced, I cannot recommend it highly enough. It gets a 10 out of 10 from me ð

Easy install and fairly reliable.
Install was as easy as reversing the direction of the door handles and drilling two new 10mm holes through the door.Fingerprint reader works well most of the time but the sensor and hands need to be wiped clean if it ever fails to register. Have had much better success registering a fingerprint than a thumb print.

Great product
Great product, must be the best looking on the market, the most “handle like” you will find. It is still big, quite chunky so will never look like the rest of your handles, but you have to expect that, there’s so much tech that needs to be squeezed inside, not to mention the batteries. This handle is as close to normal as you will get. But it’s all about the features isn’t it, and ease of use, so you can forgive it.The handle is easy enough to fit (follow the You Tube video) and the support service I must say is excellent and personal, if you have any questions along the way they will be there for you, this is definitely something you won’t get with the cheapy versions so worth that bit extra alone.The handle works, it’s used multiple times daily, occasionally it let’s us in 1st go, usually 2 or 3 tries with me, but the Mrs stuggles, 4 or 5 times to get in sometimes, often freezing herself out, unable to get in the room for a few minutes until it resets, this is annoying and a feature I wish you could turn off (can you?) I’ve added her finger prints so many times and different fingers/thumbs but she does seem to struggle. One thing that is a design flaw is the beeping, there is no option to turn this off, if the fingerprint isn’t recognised it beeps 3 times, even of it is recognised it still beeps a little tune to acknowledge, this is ok during the day but at night when people are trying to sleep its a real problem, if the supplier could fix this as an option that would be great.Overall though we are really happy with it, provides us with the privacy we require and looks and feels good, we have learnt just to be patient with the sensor (shame though) Battery life seems good also, been used for over 6 months now and still going strong. If you need one of these then definitely go for this one, its the best out there, not perfect by any means, but the best you will find.

Brilliant product to keep home office secure
We purchased this look to keep our home office secure when not in use. It is slightly larger than a standard door handle but soon blended in with the rest of the house. Fitting took less than 15 minutes (does require and electric drill and basic level of competence.The product feels quality and has a good weight feel to it. It does not feel like its could be forced in any way.Setting up finger prints takes no time at all and so far we have not experienced any issue with recognition – used 50+ times.The beep is a great audible aid to know it has worked. Would strongly recommend this product for home offices, and other internal doors.

Stopped many arguments
I wasnât convinced by this initially, but itâs incredibly well machined. Replaced the old lock like for like, fitted in under an hour.We use it on our dressing room door and it stops kids raising makeup, products, straighteners. Has stopped so many arguments.Very easy to use in practice, wet fingers are the only small pain – they need to be quite dry but that is minor.

After seeing the damage, I didnât bother trying to install it. The box came shrink-wrapped & looked unopened and brand new. It did have a concerning warning on the outside of the box â! PLEASE READ BEFORE UNBOXING! If you think in any way that this product is unsuitable for you, do NOT break the seal . . .â (See the photos)Really? Who orders something they Donât Think would be suitable? Since I thought it would be perfect, I opened it today â and discovered someone had already attempted to install it and badly damaged the part that goes inside the door. (See the photos) Since itâs clear they must have suffered through a difficult time installing it, and then removing it, I donât have to be Einstein to know itâs probably defective, as well as damaged.It appears Blusafe doesnât have any qualms about sending obviously damaged/defective goods to customers and then Threatening Them if they dare open the box. Unfortunately, Blusafe isnât the only company led by someone with no conscience or pride in what they do.Iâm ordering a different lock from a different company.

I needed to replace my bedroom doorknob and had the option to try this one out so I said why not. Itâs great so far but the fingerprint reader is not the best. You will need to set the same finger you use the most from multiple angles to get it to work. And if your hands are wrinkled from the shower itâs not gonna work until you fully dry them. The other issue is that the backup keys are very flimsy and one of them broke off in the lock. Overall I like the product but it has some drawbacks.

Installed in less than 20 mins.Set up was relatively easy however the initial set up of fingerprints can be tricky. Its important to note that you put your finger print on at multiple different angles during set up to ensure it has your whole fingerprint.If not, your finger must strike the handle each time at the exact angle as set up. Other than that it works perfectly.Would recommend but for larger doors. In any event it works as advertised and is built very well!

There are spaces in my house that I don’t want anyone in without my knowledge and permission. Maybe I am weird because I don’t want random house guest just wandering into my bedroom but that is a space that is reserved. So I put this lock on the bedroom door and we close it anytime we have company and only me or my husband can unlock it. It is really easy to install and get our fingerprints programed in. I also like the look of the handle. If you don’t know it is a fingerprint lock you would never notice. It has a sleek modern look to it that fits into any decor without being obviously high tech.
