Plug and play, totally seamless and fast!
£48 reduced from £60 at time of reviewIâm in the process of upgrading my home network with Cat 7 cables and 2.5Gbps adapters on my computers and NAS so needed to swap out my old 1G switch, wow what a difference! Most of the time Iâm just connecting to the internet (which is a 1Gig connection via Three, which I canât recommend enough!).Anyway this thing is brilliant, no bottle necks, full 1G to the internet and a noticeable difference connecting to my NAS, everything just worked seamlessly and so fast. Streaming my Plex & Jellyfin at full res has been no problem, and backing up my computers and working off the NAS has been a dream come true, super happy with this switch, highly recommend!Hope my review was helpful

2.5gb machine!
This device feels premium and of high quality. It has allowed me to wire all my devices with speeds up to 2.5gb. Has holes on nearly all the sides for amazing cooling. Functions perfectly and doesnt knock any speed off or add any latency, such a smart device!

Warm during use but works perfectly
I can’t speak to the longevity of this switch yet but it does get noticeably warm to the touch during use. Not an issue so far though and it’s not dangerously hot. Given that it’s quite compact though that’s a fine trade-off.It’s good value for the 8 port version I got and reaches the advertised speed. Doesn’t cause any link speed negotiation issues. No noise, plug and play, as an unmanaged switch should be.

Works perfectly
I bought this as I have just had 1.6Gbs broadband installed.Ethernet runs from the hub/router to my office and into this 2.5Gbs switch. I also bought 2.5Gbs USB Ethernet adapters for my laptops. You can see the fantastic speeds.Having 8 ports allows plenty of devices to be plugged in as well. This is small and light, so not much room is taken up. It can be wall mounted with screws but there isn’t a template in the box which is a pity. You could easily use some decent double-sided tape as it is so light.All-in-all very pleased.

J’ai très largement augmenté mes débits grâce à ce switch.J’ai branché la box Fibre, 2 ordis, un NAS et la TV.Les performances sont là .N’oubliez pas de changer vos vieux câbles RJ45 avec des câbles cat.6 Mini ! (les cat.5e marchent aussi je crois)(sinon les vieux câbles RJ45 brident le débit, moi j’ai mis des UGRE… Cat. 8)Un excellent choix qualité/prix !

It gets really hot in there during summer, so I was a bit concerned about how the switch would handle the heat â but it’s been rock solid with zero issues so far.Setup was genuinely plug-and-play.
