This is a nice unit. I wanted to add additional monitors for my Mac and extra ports. I really like the quality and look of this device and it keeps my Mac out of the way on my desk.

Bought this from Amazon US for shipping to Australia. Power works fine (MagSafe charging works) but can’t get any video output to my monitor. Build quality is good but it makes for a very expensive phone charger with no other functions!I tried Thunderbolt out from dock (all ports) into both USB-C and DP into my monitor and no-go. Black screen with zero signs of life. Equally zero support from unresponsive Bridge (are they even still in business??). The USB-C cable I used is 90W & 8K rated, works perfectly for both video and power when going directly from Macbook to monitor. I thought a dock would tidy up my work space and I’m disappointed this is a non-starter.Also, product shipped from Amazon with no outer carton so shipping labels were attached directly and box was a little beaten up when it arrived. Now it’ll cost me over $100 to return a defective product via international post. Overall extremely BAD experience with both Bridge and Amazon. I’ll be limiting my purchases from Amazon in future. It’s not what it used to be.

This was available at much lower price than MSRP, and that made it a steal versus other docks. I am able to get 4k 120hz 10bit RGB out via thunderbolt-hdmi2.1 adaptor. I also get full speed on a thunderbolt 10gbe ethernet adapter. Power delivery is lower than a 16″ MBP can leverage, but I’ve never, even in video encoding had drainage issues.Others have mentioned that the support from the company is bad and issues with ethernet ports — I can confirm both. The ethernet seems to be detected, but never negotiates a duplex when plugged in. I’d definitely seek to repair it if I wasn’t on a 10GBE network that needs an adapter anyways.

Summary:- No HDMI port- Not enough power on the USB-A ports- Does not work out of the box, external monitor needs to get directly connected to MacBook first+ gives you a nice clean desk if you can work around all thisI love the idea of having my MacBook out of sight in a vertical docking station behind my monitor. I am also very fussy about cable management, so I appreciate if a dock can cover up with a large amount of ports.I’d be even okay with paying $400 to get these itches scratched, but only if the dock delivers a premium experience. This dock however does not.It is an absolute joke that I can buy $20 USB dongles with an HDMI port included where this dock has none. Your only choice to hook up the required external monitor (it’s a vertical dock, remember?) is a USB-C / Thunderbolt monitor cable or to put the HDMI cable directly into the MacBook, which looks absolutely stupid, involves extra steps and kind of beats a dock’s purpose. (My 14″ MacBook M2 Pro’s orientation in the dock allows for access of the HDMI port, not sure if this works for all current models).The USB-A ports do not deliver enough power. I have a Razer Kiyo webcam which has no external power source and is purely powered via a single USB-A port. My Anker USB hub which goes into a USB-C port manages to power the webcam. This ProDock does not, the webcam does not power up. I kind of fixed it the issue by putting my Anker dongle into ProDock’s Thunderbolt port and the webcam into the Anker dongle. It’s ridiculous.Lastly, when I slid my MacBook into the ProDock for the first time, nothing would show up on my monitor. After some trial and error, I connected my monitor directly to the MacBook to see a security warning which asks me to allow the new USB accessory (i.e. Brydge ProDock) before it would start working with it. So you have a Catch-22: the monitor at the ProDock cannot display you the warning you have to accept so the monitor at the ProDock can show you the warning.As an Apple user, you are probably willing to pay a premium price and in return you expect a premium product. The Brydge ProDock disappoints on the delivery part.
