Our Landline was changed over to Digital voice and although our BT8500 phones were compatible it didn’t like the call guardian .I needed an Internet phone which worked with BT hub 2 and I found this.It arrived in a proper box as if it was new which was sealed.It was easy to register the handset to the hub and it downloaded updated software.The handset works fine and as it’s a BT phone the address book input etc was the same.I will have to look on line for a how to video on how to use the features as there was not manual and I had not expected there to be one with a reconditioned handset.It was a lot cheaper that buying from BT and Amazon delivered next day with Prime .I would have been waiting at least a week from BT and that was if they had it in stock .The base charging unit is a stand which charges the handset when in it you just have to plug it into a mains 3 pin socket .I bought this to get us out of a hole but it is a very good buy and I am well pleased with it

We already have BT digital voice when the old wired phone stopped working so I found these. Just the job easy to set up, cheaper than buying new from BT store (EE).

Bought refurbished – good value, but..
No obvious way to save nuisance calls too long after the event. If picked up straight after the nuisance call, can save the number to an inbox.Easy battery change, unlike the BT Advanced digital home phone – this has work around, available on you tube.
