Perfect
This is the best accessory I have for my surface. It works perfectly, though I haven’t tried charging the device using USB-C yet, but I like the microsoft charging port and it’s magnetic charger. Anyway, the HDMI output is great for connecting to a projector/monitor, the extra micro-sd slot and sd slots are very useful and the extra USB is also handy. It also looks really good and seems like a part of the surface when it is attached. It is sturdy, well made and stays put. I was a little worried it would scratch the screen sliding on and off but it hasn’t at all. No complaints for this great product.

Sturdy, good quality, aesthetically pleasing
I purchased this for my Surface Pro 9 and use it frequently at work. I work in IT so I am often on the move, plugging in a variety of connections as I need to be able to connect to a variety of systems with ease.With how the dock wraps around the corner of the device, it gives it a very sturdy and reliable connection. Other docks on the market just stick out the side and donât offer much protection for the ports if you knock the dock. However this product provides very suitable protection due to how itâs designed to fit around the device.Unplugging the dock from the surface can be quite awkward and I fear over time to may cause damage to my ports, if the product had small grooves for fingertips of texture on the edges it would make removing the dock safer and easier to use.I have had no issues with connectivity or compatibility with other systems so far.The dock is very compact and IâmAble to bring it in my bag very easily.I also use a signature keyboard and when I close the lid, it doesnât cause much protrusion at all. The keyboard can close very well.I donât use the dock for charging however the quality of the ports on the dock feel very sturdy and satisfying to use.For the price, you are getting a good solution for the lack of ports on the Surface Pro 9.

Handy port multiplier
Problem with sleek laptops and tablets is often that they sacrifice ports to save space, the MS Surface Pro is no exception. This little docking station gives a few back, nicely clips onto the corner of the screen with no issues and works well. Easily slips in the bag with the surface too.

Does the job well
Sturdy, well built and unintrusive. I use this for a wired moused, keyboard and 2 screens (HDMI and display port to USB-C). The built quality appears to be slightly better than other similar docks for the surface pro, and the design in such that it stays firmly in place with no wobble.I have tried a dock that sticks out to the side and found that connected devices would disconnect randomly and reconnect again. No such problems with this dock.Only thing missing is an ethernet jack

**Rating: â â â ââ**I recently purchased this product with high hopes, as it does exactly what it claims. It works as intended, and the quality is solid. However, I ran into a few significant issues that made it less ideal for my needs.First, I discovered that itâs impossible to use this product with a case on my device. I prefer to keep my Surface Pro protected, but this accessory just wonât fit unless the case is removed entirely. This is a major inconvenience for anyone who values keeping their device safe.Secondly, once this product is attached, my Surface Pro can no longer lay flat. It causes the back to tilt, making it uncomfortable to use on a flat surface, and even worse when trying to type on a desk.Lastly, the product is quite thick, which poses another problem. Itâs too bulky to fit into my slim Surface Pro laptop bag, which is designed for portability. Now, I have to carry an additional bag or look for a new one that can accommodate this extra thickness.In summary, while the product does work as advertised, the inability to use it with a case, the awkward fit that prevents my Surface Pro from lying flat, and the added bulk make it less practical for everyday use, especially for those who rely on slim cases or bags.

Great Cost Effective Expansion
The docking station fits neatly on the side & connects all the periferals you’ll require. Well made & inexpensive. The only slight downfall is that when you unplug any usb plugs from the unit you have to hold the unit to prevent it unplugging & disconnecting any other periferals you may have connected. A minor issue that you soon get used too but prevent a 5 start review.

Been using this for almost a year and have had no issues. You may get a pop up warning about the video ports or something, but I didn’t have troubles hooking up a monitor to it. Ive also used it for a mouse and have had no delay issues whatsoever. Also works with the screen protector I have on my surface, doesnt try to peel it up or anything.It does go on rather snug for the first while, but you get use to putting it on.
