High quality and protect high quality leads from bending
Excellent quality, I use lots of these to flatten out guitar cables they don’t need to stick out of your guitar, amp or mixer two to three inches in the air. Do be careful to buy stereo jacks if you need stereo jacks such as headphones or you will only hear sound through one ear piece, Standard guitar leads are normalyy mono only anyway so mono will do most applications. The two adaptors are different colours

Simple but effective
It’s a right angled mono to mono 6.35mm jack – I used it in a mixer as there was not enough room above it to have the headphone jacks go straight in.Works perfectly. Solid all-metal construction, I have no concerns about these lasting a long time and they fit in the sockets snugly as they should.I’ve looked all over and did not manage to find a mono to stereo fill version of these, which would be handy for something else, but that is not a fault with these.

WARNING – May not work with all brands of jack plug
I had exactly the same problem with these adapters as another reviewer. He thought the problem might be one of quality control:âFeel and look like well built adapters. However, in use, it seems like there could be quality control issues. With one of the adapters, plugging into it involved the usual, satisfying click that you get from this size of jack plug, but not with the other. The plug doesn’t appear to go fully in, doesn’t click, and takes a lot of effort to push in as far as you can see in the photo (the one on the right with the gap showing).âMy experience was even worse!! One of the adapters wouldnât click at all and the other did a couple of times but then gave up.I tried with regular jack plugs and RCA to jack adapters and neither would work.It all struck me as weird as the unit seems well made (solid metal case).Looking at the plugs Iâm using, Iâm wondering if the problem is not build quality but design.The plugs Iâm using may be slightly shorter than top quality brands (Neutrik being the obvious example) and if so, because the adapter is metal and has no give, I can see why if designed with a Neutrik in mind they would have exactly this problemThe only thing to do is try it with your plugs and see if it works.

OK, but not great.
These adaptors seem nicely made and they work well â up to a point. I use them to connect leads to mini-size pedals inside a small case with a rim, so normal straight or angled jack plugs canât be used. However, while they held the plugs well at first, the slightest knock or sideways pressure affects the part inside that holds the tip in place. As a result, it soon becomes impossible for the inserted jack plug to be held firmly and it keeps threatening simply to pull or fall out. There is no way to get inside to tighten up the springy part. So these adaptors are not really suitable for the purpose for which I intended to use them. At a fiver a throw I would have expected a more robust design.
