How do I connect my smart Bulb via WiFi to the app?
Step 1: Put the lamp in pairing mode: Turn it on and off three times until it starts blinking.
Step 2: Open the app and select your WiFi network. Then choose to pair the “Smart Bulb.
Step 3: Add the blinking lamp, and now you can configure it.
How do I reset my Smart Bulb?
1) Make sure the lamp is ON, then turn it OFF and wait for 5 seconds.
2) Turn the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds and repeat this 3 time).
Do I need a Hub?
For the Calex smart products, only WiFi and a smartphone/tablet are required. Install the free Calex app and you are good to go!

Great smart bulb
The bulb is more then I expect. I got one for my bedside lamp, because it was too bright. Easy connects to the app and Wifi. Works perfectly so far. Never thought I could get something like this for such a low price. Going to order more for other lamps!

This E14 bulb from Calex came well packaged and has a good quality feel to it. With so many companies making smart bulbs most of us will want to avoid using multiple apps to control different lights, so I wasnât that keen on installing Calexâs own app. These bulbs do support Alexa and Google Assistant which is a good start, but what I found out from the box is these are Tuya based which means they can be added directly to the Tuya app which I know quite a lot of people use, or in my case opens up the option to add to Home Assistant which I use to control all my smart devices.The majority of my smart lights are Philips Hue and although the quality of these bulbs isnât quite up to that level, for small E14 bulbs these are far better value for the odd table lamp. Be aware these are Wi-Fi – and only 2.4GHz like almost all Wi-Fi smart bulbs – so lack the benefits of Zigbee, Z-Wave etc.The colour temperature doesnât quite match the Hue bulbs but is fine for individual lamps. If you plan to use multiple bulbs grouped together I suggest sticking with a single brand so they match as even small variations in colour temperature will be quite obvious when grouped together.All in all these are good value Tuya bulbs.

Perfect for remote control via phone app or through Google Home command. Can dim right down and change from warm to daylight simply and easily on the app. Marvellous invention!

Connects to smart life app easily
I chose this bulb for a table lamp which I wanted to be able to control via Alexa and also to be able to choose the brightness and temperature of the light given off.It fits nicely into my lamp and as soon as I turned it on it started searching for my network without me having to do anything. I use the smart life app for most of my smart devices and it connected to that straight away, so easy and straightforward.Alexa then found it instantly.It gives a good range of brightness and colour and i really like the effect.Seems pretty good value for money in my opinion. I am just choosing another lamp and then I’ll buy another of these bulbs.
