I haven’t used this item in the rain yet, but it seems to be very well made. It fits well on my tripod, and seems to protect my Fujifilm HS30EXR very well. I use a wrist strap – so I can tuck it under the lens. Neck-straps might have a problem.The visibility of the display on the back of my camera is very good.As far as the Velcro issue: There is an internal velcro strap that allows the “Lens Section” to be shortened as needed depending on the length of your lens. A bit fiddly, but there you go. The other elastic velcro strap is to crimp down the lens section externally (if necessary) that is not handled by the draw-tight clips. All in all, I am happy with my purchase, and I recommend it to those that require a budget-level rain cover.

No instructions
No instructions and with velcro in a place tgat looks like it serves no purpose and an extra piece of loose velcro , instructions would be useful. It does not fit a 150-600mm lens (which was the reason for purchasing).
