Fabulous all in one. Many extras. Win11 and Linux
This is a quality well thought out machine, not only does it have the ink tanks but also lists of web apps in Win11 to help you create docs, fliers with it. It is really easy to get it working with Linux too, through the Cups system where a driver can be utilised. There are deb packages too. The on board feeder for scanning is a big plus just place a stack and off it goes. Easy interface on the front display which is a tad too small, but also an app available. All of this with a small foot print size, it fits neatly in my office. The quality of print and colours is remarkable as is the depth of scanning quality. After demonstrating printers for years for the main manufacturers this for me is a surprise and is quite a package for the money. Well worth considering for SOHO work!!!

Phone connection is not easy
Had no end of problems trying to get it connected to the WiFi. It was easier to connect to my laptop than my phone, which let’s face it more and more people use these days. So perhaps they could sort on that. The printout just said a settings error but does not specify where. Whether it was the phone or the printer. Hence only 4 stars.Anyway, all that aside everything works well. Printing looks good. Double sided printing a dream and black and white printing is really fast. All in all, I am very pleased with thus printer so far.

Fine could be better
Easy to set up, bit temperamental on WiFi printing but good speed and colour reproduction. Frustrating lack of guidance on double sided printing, which Iâve concluded is because you just had to feed paper in page by page but still searching in hope of guidance somewhere. This means you have to be at the printer when printing which is a bit tedious. Happy with print though, scanning not yet tried

Apple users- Be very careful
Set-up is very straight forward and the print quality is very good.However.. I bought this device as I wanted duplex double sided printing. This is not available using my macbook which only allows airprint and the double sided box in the print dialogue box is greyed out. I have been all over the internet trying to establish what I need to do and cannot find anything to resolve this.The Canon site says that only airprint is available to ‘enhance my uses experience’. If this means not being able to use a fairly essential feature of the printer then they have succeeded. Absolutely ridiculous!Be very careful buying this range of Canon printers if you have an Apple mac!!

I was looking for a colour laser printer but found that this megatank version lasts for absolutely ages, so far so good, been a great machine for the home office
