Perfectly adequate for domestic use, but …
Fifty quids not bad, and it perfectly suits for my own domestic needs. Good print quality and faithful copying and scanning.One problem … the ‘included contents’ indicate that a set-up CD-ROM is included. No, it wasn’t, and it took me 24 hours to negotiate the Canon website before I succeeded in getting it to connect with my wifi.As always, ink is more expensive than paper!

Bulky but great!
Just received this today. It was a daunting prospect, as it was the first printer I had bought in 25+ years.Well packaged, with minimal paperwork. Guide book not in English, so to be sure, install the canon print app, and link printer to your chosen media, in my case an iPad. It took about an hour to figure out, install the ink & print my first sheet.But once I was off & running, it was great. Seems like an ideal print quality for basic home use, inc eBay & Vinted labels. Itâs big and bulky for a small home occasional printer. But perhaps if I had searched alternative canon models, I could have gotten a smaller one. It scans slow, photocopies slow, but prints real fast, and for me that the most important factor. The ease of use when relying on a smartphone or tablet, as opposed to a desk top, or laptop, is brilliant. No more loading set up discs and operating from computers. A revelation to those over 50!

Worst printer ever bought
One of the worst if not the worst printer I ever bought. Does not connect to my laptop and the Canon print app is useless. Wasted time and money with this. Have spent almost one hour on two separate occasions just to get it to print one document. The software from Canon is a joke and looks like it was made in the 90s.Avoid it like the plague.

Very light weight, and noisy. But it prints and scans alright. So I am satisfied with it. Connected wirelessly easily .
