Good Machine
Arrived within time scale, no package damage. Well packed inside and simple get started user guide.Could have had slightly better diagrams where the packing transit tapes were, but otherwise easy to set up and worked as expected. Agree with some reviews about being not the fastest but print quality good.Bought to replace ageing Epson WF 7620 for A3 work but A3 scanning not a requirement now and A3 printing good. Overall happy except for printing speeds but can live with that,

Great little printer does exactly what it says

Broken already
Less than a week old it showed an error 5100, after hours of my life was lost contacting Canon support it had already had a hardware failure. Engineer coming to fix but not a great start to the life of a quite expensive printer.Update, 14 days minimum for a repair, so it’s on its way back to amazon instead

Painfully slow
Brilliant images, fantastic borderless printing, but painfully slow at anything, from printing to changing an ink cartridge – and believe me you will do that a lot. It seems to swallow ink for the hell of it.

Printer
Good multi-use printer instructions not very helpful but C.D installation. Good. Lots of information on the net

Very versatile printer, small footprint for an A3 capable device.
My first time with a Canon printer and very impressed. Bought as a replacement for and HP 7000 series (which was itself very good but aging), this printer has roughly half the physical footprint and is very good value for money compared to other A3 capable alternatives. Associated Canon apps allow the production of gift boxes, greeting cards and proto booklets / brochures, very versatile!
