Simplistic yet flawless**
â¨ï¸ As a working MUA I’ve probably tried one hundred different primers ranging from cheap to expensive, so I decided to give this, Canusa Clear Primer a shot not really expecting too much, however i have to say I’m quite pleasantly surprised by it.âï¸ The primer arrives boxed and comes in a squeeze tube with lid.âï¸ The formula is clearly, perhaps slightly cloudly in colour. It feels really soft, slightly silky to the touch. It has a mild, fragrance that smells really nice.âï¸ I’d say it’s very simplistic in formula and design and yet it works really well. I would say that to get the best results it’s best to apply two layers, as you get the textured feeling on the skin after 2 coats that keeps the makeup onto the skin. After the second coat, the skin feels like it’s got a beautiful soft coating on top of it with a very slight sticky texture.â¨ï¸ Overall I actually think this is a really good primer that’s both affordable and leaves a beautiful base to apply makeup on.

Makes skin look better
This is a lovely face primer and is better than expected.It is a gel, which I usually don’t like, as gels don’t seem to work well with my skin.But this has exceeded expectations because the gel is light and moisturising.It absorbs well and gives a nice soft finish, it doesn’t sit on the skin.Foundation goes on really nicely over the top, with no dryness or pilling.My skin seems to look more glowy and better.It’s made me want to know more about, and look at other products from Canusa.

It claims to be pore-minimising and mattifying, and it does deliver on creating a smoother, more even base for makeup.The skin texture is quite uniqueâneither a true gel nor a cream, but somewhere in between. Despite being gel-based, it doesnât have that typical slick gel feel. It applies effortlessly and glides over the skin with no stickiness or heavy residue. Thereâs no strong scent, which I appreciate, and once itâs on, you canât really feel it on your face.It smooths the skin well and gives makeup something to grip onto. I noticed my foundation applied more evenly and lasted longer without sliding off or getting patchy throughout the day. It also didnât make me oilier, which is a big plus.Overall, this is a lightweight, hydrating primer that preps the skin nicely without feeling greasy or heavy. If you have oily skin and want a matte but comfortable base, this is definitely worth trying at £9.99.

This does seem to make a difference to my skin, it is nice a light, a little goes a long way and it soaks into my skin. Used under make up it does what it says and mattifies the skin so itâs not shiny and glossy.

Face primer
I don’t wear makeup all the time but if I do I like to wear a primer underneath to help my makeup stay and smooth it out.This primer works well and does come out clear on skin.My skin is a combination of dry and oily and thought it worked pretty well. I do like it just think there is cheaper options that do the same if not a better job.

Decent primer for the money,
This is a middle of the road primer. I like the consistency it’s very lightweight and feels nice when applied to my skin but I did notice my skin looked a bit more greasy and usual. I do have oily skin in my T zone so perhaps this is more suited to other skin types. I would still use it but I have other primers which do a better job for me. My makeup went over it smoothly but I did notice a little bit of creasing in one of my laughter lines after a few hours. Overall this primer is perfectly acceptable for the money just not quite perfect for my skin type.

This is a great primer and Iâm really pleased with how my make up looks when Iâve used it. Itâs very easy for me to apply and a little goes a long way so this tube will last me a long time. I think itâs very good quality and made with skin friendly ingredients because itâs not caused any irritation or discomfort to my sensitive skin. I like the consistency and texture of the primer and I do feel it blurs my pores well. My skin feels great after using it too so itâs moisturising my skin well. Iâve not had any issues with it so I highly recommend it. I think itâs fantastic value for money and I give it a big thumbs up.
