NOT FOR CERTAIN VEHICLES WITH AIR BAGS!
Check Your Steering Wheel! Do Not Buy for a Vauxhall Zaffirra. Note: The product itself IS O.K., it is a rigid and straight piece of steel, fine. But the centre of the steering wheel on my Zafirra ( as is the case on MANY other cars, including yours) bulges UPWARDS up due to the inbuilt airbag. So , having first conected on eend of the steering lock, the air bag bulge means you have to trry and force the other end of the steering lock DOWN over that “pivot point” to attach the other end. IImagine trying to force down both ends of a see-saw at the same time.) I DID manage to tdo that,and force it to lock, as there was enough “give” to make that happen..but when you try to UNDO the lock to take it off it is a real struggle, as the pressure stops the lock disengaging easily. Luckily I have a vintage MX5, and the centre of the wheel is in the same plane as the rim, so I used it on my MX5 instead. I then ordered a “T” shaped sterring wheel lock for the Zafirra, which attaches to the top RIM only, and then projects over the dashboard fascia towards the windscreen. Hope that helps somebody. And if it wasn’t foe dishonest horrible low life thieves we would not need to pay for these things. (ooh! Maybe all car thieves are sponsored by security firms! Revelation!! Happy travels!
