Useless in the rain and unreliable overall
EDIT- changed from 2 star to 1 star after a few months of use.The camera issues have persisted in adverse weather. The video recording functionality hasnât worked on multiple occasions, even when my internet connection is strong.Overall, the ring systems are simply too unreliable to be used as real security camerasOld review:First of all, this is a vastly improved camera to the original outdoor cam, however it has the same major drawback. In the rain, the lens is covered and means you canât see clearly and the motion detector doesnât work properly. Living in the Uk, sadly this means most of the time!Iâve attached 2 images from 2 different days. Sometimes it is far worse than this.In good weather, the camera range is good and the pre-roll feature is useful.
