Excellent Solar Security Camera and Light
I was originally looking to get a solar PIR downlight, for the front of my home then I happend to see this camera with a light, or is it a light with a camera. It looks very clearly a camera in the photos but in person when placed like 6-7ft high, it’s a little harder to tell there is a camera and at night, only the 4 glowing IR give it away, so am excellent security option.The setup was easy as can be, as long as you remember to connect to a 2.4ghz Network. I’ll explain this later.I haven’t quite decided where to fix this camera, so I was trying it high up like 8ft high, low down like 4ft high. I have some suction cups which are meant to replace screws which held this perfect to my PVC too.You can see even with the sky covering half the image the rest of my garden was still clear. Amazon have ruined the quality of the video a little bit but you can see see. Excuse the garden it’s still being worked on.The image quality and video is outstanding, crystal clear.Whole I was messing about testing, I used about 1% battery, and within about 3 hours of sun it was back to 80% that it came out the box with. Right now 2 days later it’s still on 80%. It has been bright and sunny the last few days and the camera is south facing..I love how you can adjust the brightness of the light, so doesn’t blow out the image of it’s close to something else.The siren is loud but not sure I like the sound if makes, like a zerrp zerrrp zerrp sound, but it does the job I guess.One of the best thing about this is the 2 way audio, I tried it and could easily hear my family sat the table and they could hear me when I spoke to them. Come BBQ time, will be awesome to use almost like an intercom. I already use my other cameras this same while I’m out and about.Right SetupYou need to connect to a 2.4ghz WiFi, the easiest way to do this is login to you WiFi Router, details will be printed on the bottom or back of your router.Look for the appropriate section, you can temporarily set the router to 2.4ghz, instead of 5ghz or both at once. This is the easiest..What I did is rename my 2.4ghz Network to “IoT-M” this is a done once and sorted option, and I highly recommend it so keep your Smart Appliances on their own network and not slowing down your TV or Gaming so would extra noise on the WiFi.Once your on the 2.4ghz.Open the Wansview Cloud app.Click the + up in the right side corner.Select the camera you have bought.It will then tell you a few of these steps on the screen.Here I usually choose the option to connect to the cameras WiFi (option 2).It will then ask you to power on the camera and check for for flashing lights.Select the cameras name, your phone will tell you there is no internet connection, don’t worry.It will then ask you to select your network, or in my case IoT M, and fill in the password.Click ok, and it will say “Connecting to WiFi”… Then after a few seconds “Connected to server” the “Registering on Server” then “Ready to use” it’s then all added and ready to go on the app.It’s so easy once that 2.4ghz network bit is sorted. Remember to turn 5ghz back on if you turned it off.

Very clear picture- light very bright
I already have a couple of security cameras from this brand already but wanted one that had a light included, to cover the area near the patio doors. As expected, it was a doddle to set up and is very easy to use via the Wansview app. It is set up maybe 30ft from the router, but connects very quickly without any issues. So far, I haven’t experienced any dropouts when using live view. The picture quality is very clear, with the bonus of colour night vision. As hoped, the light is very bright, and I’ve used this function solely as a light on a couple of occasions. The attached photo shows the picture quality and most common functions on the app- talk, siren, etc. More advanced options are available in settings. The two-way audio is pretty clear and is useful for talking to someone in the garden while I’m in the house. I’ve used this for about a month and the battery level is still showing as full/charging. Would recommend

Excellent quality but restricted angle of view
This is a good, bright light, with a reliable PIR. In terms of image quality, the camera cannot be faulted, giving crisp, sharp images. Two-way sound also works well. The captured footage using a micro SD card is easily monitored on the excellent Wansview app.The downside is that there is no pan-and-tilt, so the range of vision the camera shows is entirely determined on where it is sited. It slides easily on to a flat backplate, but there is no option to mount the backplate at an angle. If you have a porch, this can be a problem – put it at the front of the porch and it captures the wrong area; put it inside the porch and you restrict the sunlight reaching the solar panel. With a lot of recent sunshine, the charge is holding at about 73% at the moment, but will probably need charging by USB from time to time. All in all, a useful light/camera if you have the right place to put it.

Easy to use.
Had this security camera for very nearly 2 months, and I can’t fault it. Great piece of kit at a great price. Very easy to set up, not over complicated at all. No wires, uses an inbuilt solar panel, and so far it hasn’t died on me yet.You can pay to store any alerts on the cloud or just put in a sd card.In colour or inferred the images are clear.Would definitely recommend.

Purchased this camera to replace a blink outdoor that wouldn’t connect after a battery change. And can honestly say it has been great. Easy to set up and calibrate. Wifi range is good as situated at the far end of the garden. Motion detection is great and picture and video quality is sharp and clear.Being solar powered is a great asset at a low cost. Will definatley purchase more.

Excellente caméra solaire extérieure â efficace et facile à utiliser !Après quelques jours de tests, je suis très satisfaite de cette caméra. L’installation a été rapide et vraiment très simple. La notice d’installation jointe est très bien réalisée. Cette caméra fonctionne parfaitement avec l’application WansView, qui est fluide et réactive. Les alertes arrivent instantanément sur mon téléphone, avec la possibilité de régler la sensibilité selon mes besoins. Le projecteur de lumière par capteur de mouvement est très efficace la nuit, et éclaire très bien.Lâenregistrement des événements peut se faire soit sur une carte micro SD ( à acheter en plus), soit sur le cloud (abonnement nécessaire). On peut également parler à travers depuis l’application, et programmer des alertes sonores. Une solution très pratique, autonome grâce au panneau solaire, idéale pour surveiller lâextérieur de la maison sans se soucier du câblage.Un petit bémol, à noter que la caméra est fixe on ne peut pas pivoter la caméra il faut alors bien réfléchir à son emplacement avant de la fixer.Mais je la recommande sans hésiter !

The setup is very easy like most wi-fi camera on the market. Originally I want to put it on the side of the house, but the angle is kind of awkward anywhere I put it (too close and not covering enough angle of the side of the house). But it works great when I put it on a tree in my back yard. Its wi-fi connection is great. Microphone is also very clear and sensitive (hear lot of bugs, lol). The alert feature is also good. Sensitive enough to detet anyone who came close, though resolution is not great. But that’s what you would expect in the price range. The solar -panel supported battery is also good that last through the night. We will see how long before the battery couldn’t hold the charges in a few years (hopefully).So far, a very good investment. Very satisfy with the purchase.

Am 25.10.24 habe ich mir die Cinnado Solarcamera gekauft und sie direkt installiert. Sie war einfach ins System einzubinden und funktioniert über die einfach zu bedienende App sehr gut. Dabei unterscheidet sie in der Erkennung Personen, Fahrzeuge, Tiere, Paketlieferungen etc. Aufgrund der guten Erfahrungen habe ich mir am 13.12.24 eine weitere identische Kamera bestellt. Hier musste ich jedoch zu meiner Enttäuschung feststellen, dass diese nur zwischen Personen und sonstigen Erkennungen unterscheidet. Ich habe mich daraufhin an den Support der Herstellerfirma gewandt, der mir mitteilte, dass in der zweiten Kamera ein anderer Chip verbaut ist und Amazon diese Kameras ohne entsprechenden Hinweis bzw. ohne entsprechende Kennzeichnung verkauft. Sehr schade! Ich habe dann von der Fa. Cinnado einen kleinen Betrag erstattet bekommen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Support war superfreundlich und sehr schnell. Dafür vielen Dank und ein groÃes Lob! Mein Wunsch wäre aber, die Kameras beim Verkauf eindeutig zu kennzeichnen. Trotzdem: die Kameras funktionieren super. Jederzeit wieder.

Jâai installée la caméra sur le côté de la maison, le long dâun couloir extérieur : elle est parfaite pour ce type dâendroit.Lâinstallation est très simple, rapide et sans fil, ce qui est un vrai plus. Lâimage est nette, même de nuit, et la détection de mouvement est fiable. Lâapplication est facile à prendre en main, et permet de recevoir des alertes en temps réel.Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande sans hésiter !
