Excellent PIR – good value for very little money
Comes with a 1m lead so easy to connect to existing lighting cable, especially if a replacemnt PIR for one that had died. I am using it only for a nightime PIR so have set it with the moon symbol and 120 seconds of illumination. Sensor range is good and light comes on immediately when sensor beam crossed, with a nice bright LED light.Suggest you buy one before the price increases!!

Good quality, good electrical tail length which would be required as no J box as part of the light, different timer functions work well – only downside which I discovered was the motion sensor is very sensitive to light when on night time setting, as the light is used to light a driveway the sensor picks up any house lights that are on and doesn’t function ?

Waste of time and money.
DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP.This lamp has a number of issues, and the one I received appears to be faulty.1. the mains cable is very short and, more importantly, can’t be replaced. Other lamps have terminals to fix a cable to. This is a sealead unit. This means that you will need to have a junction box of some kind, and it might need to be an outdoor type if you need run the cable outside along the wall, or you want to replace an existing lamp that has terminals for connection.2. There is no safety earth wire, even though there is a metal heatsink on the back to help dissipate heat. I can only hope that there is sufficient internal electrical insulation to ensure this part can’t become live in the event of an internal fault.Having had it installed by an electrician, it seemed to work OK, at least while it was daylight outside and set to 24h mode. When I set it to night mode and checked it at night, the lamp wouldn’t turn on. I tried it again in 24h mode and the lamp turned on. Back to night mode and it doesn’t turn on. The only conclusion is that the sensor thinks it is still daylight when dark and stops the lamp coming on in night mode.In order to return the lamp I would need to pay the electrician to come and disconnect the lamp, which it is not economical to do, so I’ll have to keep the lamp in 24h mode and have it operate during the day as well as the night.If it is faulty out of the box, then it is likely to fail completely at some point, so I don’t recommend anyone buy this poor quality lamp.Also, since this is fulfilled by Amazon, there is no way to complain to the actual vendor.

Good bright light
Good lightweight light, easy to fit and works very well. Only slight gripe if I had to is there is no adjustment for the amount of light to trigger, has to be pretty dark when on night setting so those gloomy early evenings donât trigger, but thatâs fine by me for the price.

Needs to be very very very dark to operate at night.
The quality of the light is very good and its settings adjustment buttons are quite good and easy to use. Problem for me is that in night mode the light will not come on due to other garden lights that I also have in place. The sensor requires such low lux levels to believe itâs dark that even moon light will keep it for operating. Photocell is way too sensitive to use other than in a completely dark scenario.For reference no other PIR light fitting I have had in this location has been problematic and Iâm also an Electrician so familiar with installing such lightsâ¦

En ocasiones no es demasiado rápido.Después de un tiempo usándolo veo que el sensor es poco reactivo.

Il prodotto è moto valido e si presta a tutte le situazioni dove si vuole illuminare bene un vialetto o una porzione di giardino senza dover per forza chiamare un elettricista. Basta un semplice collegamento alla rete elettrica e il faretto è pronto all’uso. Il sensore di movimento ha due regolazioni: una regola la durata dell’accensione e l’altra regola il crepuscolare ovvero la quantità di luce che ne permette l’accensione. Il sensore movimento è molto preciso e non sbaglia un colpo ed è tarato molto bene (se passa una mosca non si accende). Il prodotto ha un grado di protezione IP66 per tutto il corpo lampada e questo permette al faretto di poter stare tranquillamente all’aperto senza per forza avere una copertura superiore. L’illuminazione è a led e sviluppa realmente 20w quindi molto luminoso. Il prezzo direi che è imbattibile ed il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono. Ottimo acquisto.
