Mounted a 17″ laptop with no problems. Spring tension is heavy enough that it supports weight well, even with slight extension. Adjustments feel smooth, and tilt resistance is strong without needing tools. Base plate is solid, make sure you are installed into studs rather than anchors. Useful if you need to keep desk space clear and don’t mind a permanent mount, or if you want a laptop in a standing only area – I put this up in my tool area to pop a laptop or ipad into while I’m working.

I have this mounted above my desk to hold my laptop. This mount holds up to the capacity with no issues and feels pretty sturdy. The arm tension can be adjusted depending on how heavy your laptop is. My only complaint is the swivel is made of plastic where the arms are made from aluminum. So of course the plastic piece will likely be the first thing to wear out. But overall, it’s quite solid as it sits right now.

This is a really good value, high quality wall mount, but isn’t designed very well for thicker laptops, and especially ones that have a curved, front base. It was definitely east to install, and I had it up in less than 5 minutes. The movement is surprisingly easy, and truly is rather effortless to move in all directions, while still staying in place after you’ve moved it where you want it.Over all, it is built of good solid and secure materials, but the only complaint I had, is that 4 out of the 6 laptops I have, wouldn’t fit on it without either having the side ports blocked by the brace the holds the device securely to the mount, or if you would tilt the mount towards too much, my laptops would slide right off the mount.Just be mindful that any laptop that is around an inch thick with a curved front end design, like most of my laptops are, you might be disappointed in this wall mount, because it doesn’t fit all models safely and securely. If the front lip of the mount had been about a 1/4″ to a 1/2″ higher, then it wouldn’t have been an issue at all, but instead, mine would all slip right over the 3/4″ front lip, when tilted downward too much.Overall though, I still like this wall mount, and it is better suited for smaller, thinner laptops, in my opinion. So, I recommend measuring your your device before getting this product, and if it is curved on the bottom, you might be disappointed, so just be aware of that.

If I had to criticize it about anything, it would be that there are more plastic components involved in various connection points that I would have liked to see. This is definitely no ergotron, but it’s not priced like ergotron either, and for what they’re meant to hold up it looks to do the job. I’m actually using it to hold a portable secondary monitor (obviously no VESA) not a laptop and it is perfect for that and holds securely. The instructions are really good relative to what you usually get with these types of mounts from cheaper kits and it comes with everything you need.

This thing is STRONG. It can hold a lot of weight. I had planned to mount this for a full sized tablet, which this will easily handle. I’m sure it will hold a full sized laptop without a single wiggle or wobble.The only thing I wish it had was a little more adjustment for more positioning options. The first arm closest to the wall is set at a fixed upward angle from the mounting point. That portion does swing side to side, but does not adjust up or down. The only up or down adjustments are on the second arm, so this kind of limits the amount of adjustability you have. You have to make sure you mount it exactly where you need it when installing.It does come in the box completely disassembled, there is a lot of assembly required to get this up and functional. Great value!
