This is a review of ‘COOLJOB UV Sun Protection Arm Sleeves, Arm Warmers for Women Men, Moisture Wicking Gloves to Cover Arms, Ideal for Gardening, landscaping, Cycling, Running, Driving, Outdoor Sports (S-M, Green)’.This is a pair of uv arm sleeves for protecting your skin from the sun. I usually hate having suncream on but I work outside so something like this is great as an alternative to traditional sun protection. The sleeves are made of a smooth almost silky material and actually seem to make my arms feel cooler than the rest of my body when I’m wearing them in the sun. I haven’t burned while wearing these so I’m quite happy with them. Also, the green material is quite nice and doesn’t look terrible when combined with most of my gardening clothes. You could also use these for running or generally walking around in the sun.

I cannot say how much I absolutely love these â Iâm not even joking, I really, really love themâ¦!The material is really lovely, soft and stretchy, and very comfortable to wear. The pattern that I got is absolutely gorgeous, and I genuinely will be ordering the other patterns as well, because I just like these so much. Thereâs a little band around the top that stops the sleeves slipping down your arm, which is really handy, and they are very comfortable to wear â I forgot that I was wearing separate sleeves, because they were so comfortable.The fact that they are UV protective is an added bonus, and the material is such that you donât get sticky and sweaty in them.I know that these are marketed as gardening/outside in the sun sleeves but I actually got them to wear with little T-shirts, as my skin is healing at the moment and exposing it to the sunlight wonât do it any good, but I still want to wear the T-shirts I have. For this, they are absolutely perfect, and as I say, I am definitely going to order the other patterns, because they look great and feel really comfy – Would definitely recommend :-)I really canât recommend these enough â I think they are a very fair price for what they are, and Iâm pleased to tiny bits with them, as you can tell 🙂

Effective UV protection
So far I have used these to keep the sun off my arms and hands while working in the garden, but in fairness, it has been such a rainy summer I have been able to confirm that they are also quite good at keeping you warm.The fabric is quite thick and stretchy – reassuringly substantial, and the sleeves have stood up reasonably well to bramble thorns (but they have snagged in a few places). Mine are green – very vibrant – and easy to put on when you get the hang of them. The issue I found is that the sticky silicone hold-up bit at the top of the sleeve tends to catch on the way up, so I fold this over while putting them on and then fold the hold-up bit up. You have to do the same in reverse to get them off, and I found rolling them a bit helps too. The fit is reasonably snug so, like putting on tights, a bit of attention to detail is helpful.There is a thumbhole in the wrist so you can use these to protect the backs of your hands – they hold well under gloves too. They keep the midges and mosquitoes off my arms, which is useful.My only reservation about these is that they have pilled a bit in use and I am not sure that they will really last. However, they are not very expensive and the quality of stitching and the fit are good for this price.

Great design and good quality
These arrived quickly and well presented in flat envelope style packaging. The easy peel opening strip was not effective but easy to open without this. These have a strip at top to prevent moving down arm and this works very well. The sleeves patterns are well balanced and look good. Comfortable and stay in position…the thumb holes are a good aspect for this design and work well for covering both arms and hands. I’ve started wearing these to disguise prominent veins on arms that I’m in process of trying to reduce. The fabric these are made from has a resistance to absorbing heat and they remain comfortable during the heat and when it gets cool. Overall very happy with these and I hope the seller adds more designs to the collection. Yes I would recommend these.

Rubs at the top of the arm.
I live in UV arm sleeves all summer, so it was nice to be able to find some that are pretty as well as practical.I measured these carefully, but found they were quite loose and baggy around the wrist despite be the correct size.I found the rubber grip around the bicep quite uncomfortable. A few times its rubbed the skin away and caused some severe irritation. As i wear UV sleeves for several hours a day, this has put me off wearing them in future.The sleeves i normally wear have no grip and stay i place just fine.I like the look of these, and i really like the material – the rubber grip is where the fault lies imo.
