Fantastic ATX Case with Excellent Airflow and Design
The Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case has been an outstanding choice for my PC build. Great case, just wish it came with more fans
Bought this case to build a budget PC out of older spare parts (GTX980ti, i7 7700k) and wanted a solid case with space to upgrade.
Assembly: I’m no PC building pro, last time I built one was 12 years ago. The build process following a guide from Linus Tech Tips was working without a hitch regarding the case (had a problem with the Motherboard which had nothing to do with the case). It’s got plenty of space for most Motherboards, my PSU installed easy and i like that i can tuck cables neatly behind the panel.
Filters and Fans: Case comes with two fans; one in on the front and one out on the back. Those are preinstalled, sound quiet and work well. They do not have RGB if you care about that. For my build that is enough but there is space for two more on the front, which are shown in the marketing material but not included. I know I could have read it more closely but I just assumed I get what’s in the picture. I think the filters are easy to remove and clean and i like the asthetic of the top filter a lot.
Quality: I think the quality of the metal, glass and other things like the power button is all good. Nothing to complain about.

I decided to pick a Corsair iCUE 4000D RGB Airflow Case to house my new AM5X670E build.
The Ryzen 9 7950X3D will be right at home inside this case.
This is a premium product both in-terms of look’s and actual feel incl. Build quality with some very nice touches throughout. For Example the Corsair 4000D Case has well though out internal cable management and a “Channel” around the rear backplate, to funnel your main cable bundle through..
– This Case arrived well Packaged, it included x3 Corsair 120mm Elite RGB Fans, RGB Lighting & Fan controller.. Another example of a Premium “Feeling” product are the top Lid Power/Reset button which have a nice “soft-click” feel to it, not too “Clicky”, not too soft feeling when depressed but just the right Feel and sound, not forgetting the USB 3.2 Type C and Type A connectors..
– The front face of the Case is removable, providing access to the front dust screen. This removable Front face panel is solid and NOT made of plastic or is flexible which is a good thing which adds to the overall premium feel of this Case. The mechanism to attach and detach this front face panel feels robust enough to keep working for the long terms not just a gimmicky thing but functional aspect of this cases design!
– The protective wrap on the Glass pane is a excellent touch, especially helpful during the initial build stage where its easy to leave the odd hands print here and there, this protective wrap definitely eliminates most of this issue..
– One of my favorite features of this case are the dust filters/Mesh, This Case combines Three filters in total: One large Top filter (Magnetized), One Large Clip Filter on Front (Filter/Fine Mesh) Screen and also a Small Filter on the underside or the Bottom by the PSU area.. As from past experience, without these dust filters PC Case’s do become quite dusty when all fans are spinning full tilt & sucking up into the case, With these dust filters it will be a huge difference from PC Cases without them.
The only minor downsides:
The only downside is that there is not enough room to house a 360mm AIO or Rad/Cooler on the top.
A 360mm will fit in the front, if planning on doing a Push/Pull on 360mm you will only find clearance for 5 out of 6 fans (missing x1 fan on the lower part) Maybe there are some ultra slim fans which can be used for full 6 fan push/pull on a 360mm, I’m yet to look properly, another thought will be for GPU length so just be warned if planning on using a 360mm H20 Rad/Fans Setup..
– What I would have really liked to have seen would have be some Physical Diagram/Illustration or simple user guide bundled inside the box, Yes, I know a PDF is available online, however a physical manual would have been super helpful but I can live without one though!
In all areas considered The Corsair 4000D RGB is a Really Premium Choice!

J’ai acheté ce boitier pour constuire mon nouveau pc. La qualité est au rendez vous ( j’avais deja d’autres composants Corsair). Très design et bien pensé dans l’ensemble. Très satisfait de l’air flow .
Si vous installez un watercooling sur le panneau du haut, passer les cables d’alimentation du CPU et autres connecteurs qui se trouve en haut de votre carte mère avant de l’installer car la place est vraiment limité une fois le radiateur et les ventilateurs montés…

Took it out of the box and as i unscrew the thumbscrew on the back of the tempered glass side panel, it made a crack sound and instantly the whole tempered just shattered. Asking for a return straight away. I donât know if there was already a crack in the panel when the seller shipped or not, but as you can see in the picture, not just a particular spot, but the whole tempered glass panel shattered completely.

Ich habe mich für das Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW entschieden, weil ich ein Gehäuse brauchte, das sowohl gute Luftzirkulation als auch ein ansprechendes Design bietet. Und ich wurde definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Schon beim Auspacken merkt man sofort die hohe Qualität des Gehäuses. Die Verarbeitung ist hervorragend, und das moderne, minimalistische Design gefällt mir sehr gut. Besonders das groÃe Seitenfenster aus Tempered Glass gibt dem Build einen sehr hochwertigen Look und ermöglicht einen schönen Blick auf die Hardware.
Was mich jedoch am meisten beeindruckt hat, ist das ausgeklügelte Airflow-System. Die Front des Gehäuses besteht vollständig aus Mesh, was eine hervorragende Belüftung ermöglicht und sicherstellt, dass die Luft problemlos in das Gehäuse zieht. Bei intensiven Anwendungen wie Gaming oder Rendern bleibt mein System überraschend kühl, und das, obwohl ich lediglich auf Luftkühlung setze. Kein Ãberhitzen, keine drosselnden Temperaturen â das Gehäuse hält alles optimal in Schach.
Die Montage war unglaublich einfach. Das Gehäuse bietet mehr als genug Platz, um meine Komponenten problemlos zu installieren, selbst meine etwas gröÃere Grafikkarte und das Netzteil hatten keinerlei Platzprobleme. Die mitgelieferten Kabelmanagement-Optionen sind perfekt durchdacht. Ich konnte meine Kabel effizient verstecken und alles sah ordentlich aus, was natürlich auch den Airflow weiter verbessert hat. Dank der integrierten Kabelkanäle und Klettbänder ist das Kabelmanagement ein Kinderspiel.
Ein weiteres Highlight sind die werkzeuglosen Seitenteile. Das macht das Ãffnen des Gehäuses unglaublich einfach und spart Zeit, wenn ich mal etwas umbauen möchte. Auch die mitgelieferten Lüfter sind leise und effizient, was für mich als Silent-PC-Bauer sehr wichtig ist. Natürlich lässt sich das Gehäuse bei Bedarf mit weiteren Lüftern oder Wasserkühlung erweitern, was für zukünftige Upgrades groÃartig ist.
Zusammenfassend kann ich das Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW jedem empfehlen, der ein gut belüftetes, optisch ansprechendes Gehäuse sucht. Es bietet ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ist sowohl für Anfänger als auch für erfahrene PC-Bauer eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. Ich bin absolut begeistert!
