BE HEARD CLEARLY WITH NOISE CANCELLATION

While you cannot control your neighbor’s antics, you certainly can get rid of the embarrassing background noises with NoiseClean-out. My old webcam having become outdated I went though a cycle of “avoid overpriced Logitech webcams and buy some never heard of brand for £20.00 with a ton of 5 star reviews” after these breaking down consistently with a year…….. in Feb 2022 this webcam had appeared on the Market and being a proper brand I thought I would have a pop. At the time it did such a good job I got 2 more for other computers in the house.2 years on no failures and no problems and I would buy again in a heartbeat.Is it 4K? No.In low light is the picture of grain? No (what camera at this price range is?)Can you use it start your Youtube empire and show Joe Rogan how it’s really done and what broadcast quality really looks like? No.(But it might we worth getting started with if you are on a budget.)Is the picture significantly better than a build in webcam. Yes.Is it a stable reliable piece of kit. Yes.Does it do it’s intended job well. Yes.Does it represent really good value for money. Yes.Another nice thing for me was that 77% angle of view. A nice normal angle of view where a lot of other webcams in this price range at the time of buying seemed to believe that a semi fish eye view that included as much of the room as possible was a good idea. This has a normal view suited to face to face conversations.The privacy cap is a nice touch too.Overall with this on the market you’d a have a real hard time convincing me to buy a Logitech 920 with a similar spec at almost 3 times the price.

Simple to use, decent quality.
Very simple, just plug and play. The camera works well with zoom and integrates perfectly with no issues, the picture quality is clear and crisp, and the sound is good enough for a webcam. No complaints here, for the money it is perfect.

Does the job.
A simple but effective alternative to my laptops camera and mike. I bought this to participate in an online Qigong course on zoom. It gives a much better picture than my built in camera and at a better height as it clips to the top of the laptop lid. It also gives a much wider view of the room when i need to stand to take part in the class. The 2 small microphones are also better than my built in one. It comes with a very handy software program which allows for various alterations to brightness etc. The only reason i have given 4 stars is that it does need to be handled with some care as its not super robust but good value for the money.

Fantastic camera, especially for the price
I’ve had this camera for 3 years now and use it regularly daily for Zoom + Teams calls. I bought it after my cheapy generic branded one started playing up after only a few months.This Creative camera has been absolutely faultlessly reliable. Image quality is as good as the Logitechs that are twice the price. Microphone again is extremely good and picks up far better than my Dell laptop does.Personally I can’t see why I’d pay twice for a Logitech, Microsoft, etc branded camera.

Small but big on quality
With so many webcams out there this was a difficult choice of size (small needed to go on laptop lid without moving it), price and features/quality. This Creative Live! 1080HD is a massive improvement on the inbuilt camera on my laptop (which isn’t a cheap one)- it’s really quite small, very light and just happens to match the lid frame of my laptop! The picture is crystal clear and the microphone pretty much negates my headset now, although I use the headset for noise cancellation. It’s also an immediate plug-n-play, and is very compatible with Teams and Zoom and also could facilitate a tripod, if required. The app is simple, but effective- pic attached.I see the price has dropped by a tenner so this is now very good value.

Great HD Webcam for the price!
I was not expecting much for the less than £22 I paid fir this camera. However, what I got was a camera far better than the price indicated. I have not tried all the automatic noise cancelling or mic muting features (something my more expensive webcam on my main desktop does not have) but apart from “only” being HD where my other camera is 2k and more than twice the price, I cannot argue about this piece of kit. This is for my little mini PC I have in the bedroom as video conferencing in the front room where my main system lives is simply not private enough. I am more than happy with it and will update my review if my feelings change, but as it is I could not be more plesed with it given what I paid.I have always trusted Creative prosucts in the past and this webcam is another solid product in my opinion.

I had to buy a webcam for work and narrowed my options down to this and a slightly pricier, worser spec Logitech model.I’d usually go with Logi (good track record in my experience) but i’m happy that i gave CREATIVE! a go.Pros:- Its plug and play; no adjustments needed- It has good picture quality- The auto focus works well enough- The build quality is good & the cable is sturdy and is a good length- It works well with MS TeamsCons:- None!I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to spend alot for a decent image for Teams, Zoom etc calls.

I use it for daily Zoom meetings. Even with a table lamp in another part of the room, the light is sufficient. The microphone on it is quite good. When I watched the meeting recordings, I saw that there was no missing or muffled sound. Sound is more important than image. The cover on the front is very useful. Because sometimes it is easier and faster to close the cover for a short time than to turn the camera on and off via Zoom. The cable is quite long. Actually, this is a matter of complaint for me because I connected the camera to the USB on the monitor. Otherwise, no problem of course. Since my monitor has a tilt feature, I sometimes drop it (when I’m not using the camera) but this is also my fault. There is no such problem in normal use. There is also a tripod input. I also plugged it into my android phone once. It was very successful there, too. Since my phone is not very good, I could not go above 720p, but this is not the fault of the camera, of course. However, it is nice to use it without any drivers and problems on Windows 7 PC and Android 13-14.
