Great bit of kit at an amazing Price.
Arrived very promptly, 7 days before the advised date. Product casing is fairly cheaply made out of plastic but the protective storage case is excellent so given the price I am perfectly happy. It was bought to replace my old tester which normally sits in my bag of networking tools and took some abuse so the storage bag is a real bonus. First reactions In use indicates that it does what it advertises. In fact, the signal injector which I use most of all to find and identify cables buried in runs behind plaster board seems better and stronger than my previous and more expensive injector. As well as a signal injector you have a network cable test facility for RJ11/45 cables and CAT5/6. I have not tried the RJ tester but the CAT tester gave good results showing disconnects correctly.It is supplied with no batteries (PP9) or an earpiece but did come with some useful test leads that appear well made. There was also a small package of replacement CAT and RJ plugs included.For the price this is a great bit of Kit. If like me you need to do the occasional testing and tracing then this would be an indispensable tool. Even for the full time networking professional at the price it would be a great backup to more rugged field equipment.

The reviewers giving this high feedback must have received a different product than me. Range of the time generator on a rj45 is about 1 meter so useless. Plastic case poorly made and switch faulty on arrival (could not turn off).
