As a sufferer of Misphonia, sensitivity to noise, Iâve tried all manner of earplugs. Foam earplugs, other brands of silicone earplugs including different varieties of loop earplugs and none have blocked as much noise as these!The trick is to find the right fit for your ears and applying a lubricant like baby oil to the inside of your ear before insertion. When inserting, pinch and pull the top part of your ear upwards, then outwards and insert the earplugs.Theyâre also amazing quality compared to some of the cheaper silicone earplugs Iâve tried and include a sturdy case. I liked them so much Iâve ordered another two pairs!There isnât an earplug thatâs going to completely block noise out of your ears. These definitely take the edge off, especially for me who has to deal with noisy neighbours!

Very poor fit
I have tried every one of the silicone ends and none of them give that deep fit where it blocks the sound. I bought these hoping they would be amazing and almost deafen me so I could sleep. However I can hear everything still. So I wouldn’t recommend these.

Disappointing noise reduction
So, the good bit: More comfortable for sleeping in than most earplugs I’ve tried, however my ears were still a little sore in the morning. The honey coloured option is reasonably close to skin colour to make them a bit inconspicuous, although not completely. They also stay in well once in place.The bad bit: Not as much noise blocked out as others I’ve tried, such as flare audio. They take a bit of shuffling about to get the position right for sleeping in.

Good quality, comfortable to wear, but I found the metal case hard to operate. if you also ordered the lanyard, then you will struggle to put the earplugs into this metal case with the lanyard attacked. Overall, it’s good, I prefer this over the Loop earplugs.

Hate to bring down another product to uplift this one, but I think I should start with addressing the elephant in the room. Iâm sure Iâm far from the only one looking to see how other earplugs compare to Loop. Overall, I like these quite a bit more. The shape is great. Typically, silicone earplugs will create a âsealâ between the plug and your ears. This blocks out noise, but is uncomfortable to me (most people donât have this problem, but I do). With my loops, it I break the seal, they pop out constantly. These stay in comfortably without being tightly sealed. I bought these after misplacing my loops. I dropped the case and it popped open, causing the ear plugs to fall out. The CURVD earplug case is a sturdy, metal screw top. I can drop it all I want, and the earplugs will stay inside. Their case also has an optional add-on with a keychain attachment, which is a nice touch for people looking for earplugs. Iâll definitely be buying this part next time I travel. I recently went to Europe and found myself constantly checking my pockets for my Loops. Wonât be an issue with these, and Iâm looking forward to it.On top of it all, these are so much less expensive. When I got them on sale, they were $12 cheaper for just the earplugs. For $1 more than the loop quiet earplugs, I can get the CURVD earplugs with the keychain attachment and lanyard.My only complaint is that theyâre a bit large. They stay in, but can make my ears a bit sore after several hours of side-sleeping. Iâd love to see more sizes for the outer ear piece in the future. Note that this wonât be a problem for 90% of the people reading this. I have small inner ears and canât use Apple AirPods or most other standard wireless earbuds. If you can wear AirPods without pain for hours on end, youâll be fine. You can see from the picture I attached compared to other peopleâs photos, that they fit me differently. Not a common problem, but something to keep in mind if you have small ears.Iâm autistic and noise sensitive, so itâs amazing to see more companies entering this market. I liked my loops a lot, but they created other sensory issues (particularly the seal thing, but some other minor things as well). The CURVD earplugs give me all of the same benefits with almost none of the additional problems. The case is high quality, and I can see these lasting me a long time. Very happy.
