This is a photographers dream. For the amateur or professional.Attach your mobile switch on link the two easy peezy select camera and away you go front or rear facing. Track people pets animals birds elephants etc etc etc . So much fun. When you buy one and used it leave your message.

This is the non-pro version of the DJI Osmo Gimbal 7 family. There is the 7P which is more of a âprofessionalâ model that has extra features, so make sure you are looking at the correct model as they do look the same – apart from the colour.It lacks an extending tripod shaft, but does have tripod legs.Auto turn on function and buttons are well laid out.MagSafe attachment to the phone really helps make it easy to set up for shooting, but the attachment to the phone does cover the iPhone Power Button on the iPhone 15 Pro, which is a bit of a pain.Joystick control is very easy on this gimbal.Gesture controls allow you to start and stop tracking along with many other functions.Apple Watch connection is available to control this gimbal and see the footage being captured.Subject tracking is great – it can follow a subject, even when there are other people in shot.The DJI Tracking app works well, but would be better with the additional module that you can buy, or comes with the more expensive Pro version.The multifunctional Module is not included with this model, which is a shame, but it is available separately .The multifunctional module is useful for when you are trying to track two or more person tracking, or if you want to use a bluetooth wireless microphone.The 7P is £50 more, so itâs your choice as to whether to get the more expensive version that comes with the multifunction module, and extendable tripod built in. DJI do sell the tracking kit for £40 (I could not see it on Amazon at the time of review).There are a lot of comparison videos on YouTube regarding gimbals, so make sure you have a look at them as well.

Just got my hands on DJI’s latest stabilizer! I’m really satisfied with this product. This thing is incredibly lightweight, making it super easy to carry around. It has all the buttons you could possibly need, and they’re all placed in just the right spots, so it’s really comfortable to use. The built-in tripod feature is fantastic, and it also supports magnetic attachments. Perfect for capturing smooth, professional-looking videos.I totally fell in……….

Good product, large app
Very cool, works very well, allows you to do stable shots in all kinds of waysLearning the controls takes a while, but it lets you do a lot-1 star as the app is 1.8GB when installed! That’s insane, the largest app on my phone by far, I assume they could improve this but haven’t. It’s not published on the Play store either so you have to download the APK and sideload it, which is annoying.

I have old Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Plus phone which still works flawlessly with any app or environment. It is 2021 model with stock Android 12 (not upgradable OTA anymore).I was always planned to use a gimbal, but last year I finally tried. Started with Osmo Mobile 3. I really liked it, but it has two major flaws:1. The grip was almost impossible to fit. I am using Otter case which makes the phone very wide. It is still (barely) within 84 mm spec of the Osmo 3, but the design of the grip makes it very hard to set, always touches the power button and if moved away – unbalances the gimbal.2. The axis movement – I am not sure how’s possible DJI as a company selling drones to design such a totally counter-intuitive axis joystick control! I am not a pilot, but have used many RC controllers and am an old gamer â when you pull the rudder (joystick) â you expect to get your nose up and vise versa⦠well â itâs the OPPOSITE! Same as horizontal controls. There were numerous threads with users begging DJI to correct the SW to include simple axis inversion, but all in vain for Osmo 3!Those were the reasons I sold it and decided to try Osmo Mobile 7 with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 + Plus.Well â well worth the switch!So far all is good:â grip is very strong and the shape of jaws is much better, not overlapping the power button and at the same time very strong!- axis inversion â yippee (!!!) – finally, I can actually control the gimble!- so far, all the functions, menus and features seem to work as intended on the gimbal and the phone- absolutely no delay or glitching in any mode, including 4K video.In short â I am very satisfied with the product and its backward compatibility with old hardware and software!Good job, DJI!
