Completely Non-Functional from the Start
I installed this smart underfloor heating thermostat, hoping it would make managing my electric floor heating more convenient. Unfortunately, it hasnât worked at all since day one.The unit powered on, but immediately began glitchingâthe screen was unresponsive, the touch buttons didnât register properly, and it wouldnât connect to the app despite following all instructions to the letter. I tried both Tuya and Smart Life, reset the device multiple times, and even reinstalled the wiring just to be sure. No luck.To make matters worse, it doesnât actually control the heating system. The temperature stays the same no matter what settings I apply. It recognises the Wi-Fi signal but fails to maintain a connection, so voice control through Alexa or Google Home is out of the question.For something thatâs supposed to offer smart control and convenience, this has been nothing but frustration. Itâs also worth noting that the setup guide was poorly translated, making installation more confusing than it needed to be.Iâve now had to replace it with a different thermostat altogether. Waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable smart heating solution.
