The media player uses the high-end version of the latest S928X media processor with D Vision VS10 engine. It offers excellent image quality, supports true 8Kp60 decoding and true 8Kp60 output, includes the new AV1 and offers overall top performance.
8K is a new generation video format that offers four times as many pixels as 4K. The 8K format provides the most immersive viewing experience and delivers a truly smooth and sharp image. The media player supports both 8Kp60 HDR video decoding and 8Kp60 HDR video output.
The media player supports the new AV1, which can improve video quality up to 50% without increasing the video bitrate (or need up to 50% less bitrate for the same video quality).
The media player has a very powerful CPU and GPU. The CPU includes four 2.0 GHz ARM-A55 cores, one “large” 1.9 GHz ARM-A76 core (with very high performance), and an additional core for system requirements. The resulting CPU performance is up to 2x higher than that of the RTD1619DR. The GPU has been upgraded to Mali G57. Combined with super-fast LPDDR4X and super-fast eMMC, this results in blazing fast system performance. The Antutu total score exceeds 300,000 points, which is significantly more than the previous generation of media players.

As with any to addtion to Media Player world, There is going to be teething troubles, NOT problems.As stated in the headline PQ is superb, And the new processor is very fast.Build quality is excellent, Lots of settings to tweak if you are into that, Otherwise straight forward.

You can use the device with our without internal hdd , Iâm using both I have a 10tb internal drive and 4 external hard drive with a combined 18tb of 4k films . Dit is een niche product voor de nerdies onder ons. Zeer goede mediaspeler waar nog altijd aan getweaked wordt zowel in of buiten de reguliere firmware updates Vergeleken met concurrent Zidoo wat duurder maar de keerzijde is dan ook heel wat langere ondersteuning.

Muy contento con el aparato, lo he comprado para visionar mi colección de pelÃculas que tengo en mis discos y también para poder reproducir los estándares de audios HD, ya sea Dts HD o Dolby Atmos, lo tengo conectado a mi amplificador Denon, y por ahora muy contento.Tan solo me falta poder visualizar su disco duro interno HDD 3,5 de 8TB que yo le inserte en mi PC a través de la Red Local, asà intercambiar entre los dos dispositivos archivos mediante esta forma, si he podido visualizar streaming de mis archivos del PC atraves por Dune pr red local, pero como se dice copiar de un disco a otro por Red no he conseguido hacerlo, si bien es cierto mi nivel de informática es básico, espero solucionarlo en breve porque será más cómodo y rápido si consigo hacerlo como comento.Por lo demás muy contento con la calidad que ofrece el producto, y muy contento con el añadido que tiene en opciones, como es My Collection, donde se visualiza in montón de cosas de tus archivos de peliculas de tu colección.
