E EGOWAY 200W Laptop Charger: A Powerful Companion with Some Caveats
The E EGOWAY 200W Laptop Charger caters to the demanding power needs of devices like the Razer Blade 15w, promising a 19.5V output at 10.26A. While it succeeds in delivering a robust charging solution, there are both positive and negative aspects to consider. On the positive side, the charger’s impressive power output ensures efficient and speedy charging for compatible laptops, meeting the demands of power-hungry devices. The build quality is generally reliable, with a sturdy design that suggests durability over time. The inclusion of safety features, such as overcurrent and overvoltage protection, adds a layer of security during use. However, some users have reported that the charger can become relatively warm during operation, raising concerns about potential overheating issues. Additionally, the size and weight of the charger may be considered cumbersome, especially for users on the go. The substantial power comes at a cost, both in terms of physical dimensions and the strain it might put on certain power outlets.Regarding value for money, the E EGOWAY 200W Laptop Charger provides a substantial power solution for compatible devices. The price reflects the charger’s high output capacity, making it a suitable choice for users requiring such power. However, the bulkiness and potential warmth during operation should be considered when evaluating overall value. In conclusion, the E EGOWAY 200W Laptop Charger stands out as a powerful companion for devices like the Razer Blade 15w. While it delivers on its promises of high output and build quality, users must weigh these benefits against potential drawbacks, such as the charger’s size and warmth during use. Overall, a solid choice for those seeking a robust charging solution with some caveats.

Not sure why it’s this expensive.
An aftermarket non-branded specialist Razer Gaming laptops. Whilst it does pack a huge 230 watts, it is otherwise a pretty generic charger and it’s not really clear to me why it’s so expensive in it’s market. Perhaps I’m missing something important.

Currently the best non-Razer charger
This comes in a solid card box that gives decent protection to this heavy charger. This has been tested with the original 1060 version of the Razer Blade 15, I cannot give any info on itâs performance on any other models. It may be quite different on the top-of-the-range models with much higher power draw, and this can support up to RTX2080 versions of the Blade. It is also certified for use with the new 17â 4K laptop, so it should be futureproofed for new models too.Clearly this is being aimed as a direct replacement for the original charger, as the specs are very close and the price seems to indicate itâs a premium product. One slight worry is that it only has a 12-month guarantee, which for something like this is a bit short. I would have expected at least 2 years, preferably 3. This makes me think that the manufacturers are not confident in their components. It has multiple safety protections, but of course you only know if these work (or donât) when something goes wrong. One thing I can measure is charging performance, and in that aspect it is identical to the original charger. Charge times are the same, and it gets as warm as the original, but no worse. There is no annoying humming or buzzing present, which is good to see. Build quality overall seems equal to the Razer charger. It has a wide voltage tolerance and so can be used in NA/UK/EU with no problems, but obviously you will need the relevant AC plug adapter. In conclusion I would say that this is currently the only alternative that I know of to the original charger, and it does the job well. Might be worth having if you travel a lot, so you donât end up leaving your Razer charger in a hotel room, or damage it during transport. At £100+ the price is high for a charger clone, but you do get a quality product.
