It works and is very loud!
Ordred one for my daughter and then realised I could get 3 for the same price if I had done more of a search. Looks ok but donât know how well it works as didnât want to try it out. ….this is a few months on since I wrote my review and thankfully no one has been attacked but this personal alarm does work as it was in my daughters bag and somehow the pin came out and All she could here was this ultra loud screeching noise and it took few minutes to work out it was in her bag but no one came running to see what the noise was but it was very loud and she thinks if someone tried attacking her it would def scare them off!

Loud! Blooming loud! Just what I wanted
Bought as protection/deterrent for my better half and our beautiful 6mth old baby girl when they go for walks alone in secluded areas. It is loud, believe me any would be deviant will jump out of their skin when this goes off and think twice due to the attention it would draw. Painful on the ears too, loud as a house burglar alarm. Neat, small, simple to use and can attach to the pram or keyring. Iâve never really been worried until we had a baby then suddenly Iâm thinking of things differently! So this helps ease that a bit. Highly recommended for personal safety.

I bought is for solo-travelling, to feel safer on the streets of strange cities on my own. I was given a similar one by community police officers years ago but lost it so I know they are recommended by the Met police in London.Fortunately I haven’t had to use it for real yet, but when testing it, it seems to work fine and gives a loud sound and bright light, which I am sure would surprise and startle someone trying to attack and hopefully give you enough time to get away or attract attention and I do feel safer with it in my pocket at night.

I bought this product for going to uni in a big cityto jsust in general feel a little safer. The noise level is very loud, enough to catch many people’s attention. its easy to use by just removing the metal side pin, when noise instantly erupts.I have had mine for soemtime now and there are no faults, still perfectly working.makes me feelso much safer when walking home at night or any other occassion by myself.

Bought these for my granddaughters, was a bit disappointed as I thought they would be much louder than than they are but I suppose anyone near when activated would be attracted to the noise. Not much use if no one is close enough though

Not as small as I had hoped but not huge. Not too dissimilar to a golf ball size but not as round.A pin is inserted into the side and that pin is attached to a wrist strap. Pull pin out of unit and an incredibly loud sound will go off and only stop when the pin is put back in.Anyone with one of these would feel much safer if walking home alone and an attacker would almost certainly be scared off.
