Used by the whole family
Ever since it arrived we passed it on to each other and the whole family used it.He’s literally we fighting for it. :)Iâve tested several similar products lately, but this product is by far the best in its category.Actually every element is placed on the surface of the earphones.Everything is handy and easy to handle.It can be charged with USB and lasts a long time on a single charge.Very comfortable and really cancell any noise.It often causes me problems to squeeze the headphones my ear.In this case, this is not the case.The headphone section is adjustable so it can be used by a 9 year old child and a 45 year old aunt.I especially like that it has a nice matte white color and that it can be used wirelessly.Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.XO Sue

Boosting the bass via the app really helps the sound
These headphones support the SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. The headband and ear cups are decently padded, but the inner seam of the ear cups seems to be glued not stitched. They fold up, but not as compactly as I’d like. When worn around your neck with the ear cups flat the cushions face down.The latency in ‘Music mode’ and ‘Theatre mode’ is low, in ‘Game mode’ it was barely there at all. The bass was only okay, missing the punch at lower frequencies in both ‘Normal’ and ‘Dynamic’ sound modes. Though it got much better once I boosted this on the ‘Customized’ EQ in the ‘Edifier Connex’ app.They can connect to two devices at once, but don’t auto play the second device. You have to stop the media playback on the first device to start hearing the playing music on the second device.The Mic picks up my voice clearly, even in loud places.The media controls are:Play/Pause: Press the power buttonVolume Up: Press the volume up buttonVolume Down: Press the volume down buttonNext Track: Hold the volume up buttonPrevious Track: Hold the volume down buttonPressing the Bluetooth button switches between the Music, Game and Theatre sound modes. You can’t switch between the EQs without the app.The app has limited features, but increasing the bass by maxing the ‘low’ output through the Customized EQ made it worth getting. Though the EQ options are a little limited as there are only 4 options: low, mid-low, mid-high and high. Each has 13 points of selection.

Excellent for Nintendo Switch
I got these primarily to use wirelessly with my Nintendo Switch because they specifically stated they had a low latency game mode (which is absolutely required with NS for bluetooth connection otherwise the audio is delayed horribly) and I’m very happy to say that they do indeed have a game mode and this works perfectly.SOUND – these have a very vibrant, lively sound signature with a good amount of bass. For music listening they are perhaps a little too punchy, losing some of the separation and low end but for gaming they are perfect. Explosions sound fantastic and separation is very good.BATTERY – they claim 45 hours and having used them for about 20 so far they are still displaying as 60% left so I believe this to be accurate.COMFORT / FIT – they are nicely padded on the headband and the earcups are generously padded if a bit stiff. They are comfortable enough and do a good job of blocking outside noise passively, they can get a bit tight after about an hour or so and they are not particularly breathable but for a low cost point pair of closed back headphones that’s acceptable. Plus as I am using them for gaming mainly, I tend to take regular breaks so this is not an issue.CONNECTIVITY – no issues here, displayed and connected immediately and no dropouts.CONTROLS – very simple four button layout, two multi function buttons on/off/play/pause and connection/change modes as well as two other multi functions for volume and track control. Very easy to use and remember.Overall a very decent sounding pair of very reasonably priced headphones – especially for NS bluetooth gaming.

Impressive for the price point
These Edifier W800BT headphones are the budget (£50) entry level headphones of an extensive range that runs up to many hundreds of pounds. I’ve been comparing with a them side by side with another pair from a competitor in the same price bracket that I was sent to review a while ago. Both have all the usual features and connectivity options so I’ll only focus on the sound quality.I’ve listed to the same mp3 tracks on each repeatedly. Both are pretty decent but I have come to the conclusion that these Edifier’s take the win. I find them the most comfortable to wear for extended periods and the soundscape is very well balanced. They are not quite as bass led and a fraction more mid-range focussed than the other pair and that is no bad thing. High notes were as clear on both sets.If you are looking for a relatively cheap set of phones – maybe for public transport to avoid the risk of getting your high end phones ripped from your head as happened to me recently, then I’d highly recommend these strong all round performers. I really like the white as well.

Way over my expectations.Have had much more pricier headphones before mostly Sony, jabra,jbl and bose. These ones is a must have. App is okey but gaming mode is brutal. If you dont need anc these are the best buy. Who really needs anc anyways? Only negative i can find is that they are leaking sound out if you play max level.

Comprei o fone na expectativa de levar toda qualidade edifier para casa, adquiri 02 fones, um para uso diário (academia, corrida, caminhada etc…) outro para uso mais profissional (trabalho, estudo, reuniões, etc.. ) Porém não demorou muito para ver que existe alguns problemas sérios nesse fone: 1. ele não possui cancelamento de ruido e o pior tudo que outros falam parece que vem para o som interno dele, fica parecendo uma babel em nosso ouvido. 2. Quando usei ele na corrida, e isso na academia, constatei um barulho esquisito, parece que uma bola de gude solta dentro dele. 3. O som não é dos melhores, pois tenho o Edifier W820NB e esse nem chega próximo dele, embora os preços não estejam muito distante. Enfim solicitei o cancelamento da compra e a devolução da mesma. Não entendi qual é a visão da edifier nesse produto.
