Iâve been using this mic since 2020 and What can I say Elgato know their stuff.
The sleek look while giving amazing audio quality all while being a usb mic is impressive
The mic comes feature rich with a touch to mute on top
A 1/4 in Jack for audio monitoring (which can also be done in wave link software if you use wireless headphones)
And a multifunctional dial that allows you to control the gain, monitor volume and cross fade between the mic and PC mix.
The mic comes with a basic but robust stand but can also be mounted to most mic arms.
What I believe sets this mic apart from the others is the wave link software that comes with it allowing you to split your PC audio into submixs. Each application can be set to a submix in windows audio settings ie discord to voice mix and chrome to browser.
The ability to have both a normal output for yourself and a stream output makes this great for streamers allowing you full control of what you stream can hear as you can mute a submix for stream or for yourself great if you like listening to music but donât wanna get DMCA strikes on your stream.
The plug in support is also nice for the mic and you can add plug ins to each sub mix and mic individually.
I would 100% recommend this mic for anyone wanting a great sounding mic out the box that only get better with the software that comes with it.

We were in the market for a new mic as the cheap one we bought last year just was rubbish. As I have calls via zoom and my partner likes to game, we decided to buy a microphone that was something we both could use.
I canât believe we didnât get this sooner. We didnât want to go down the route of getting an audio interface to get a fancy mic, but we wanted one that would look nice and subtle and cater to both of us.
My calls sound crisp as anything! And as for gaming, this USB mic does the job and more! You can download software to run with this microphone so you have its own interface so you can change the sound input and output to a range of different things.
If you are in the market for a usb mic, I highly recommend going online, checking out some videos on this and then hitting the purchase now button. Weâve only had it a couple of weeks and we think itâs amazing.

I have tested multiple office speakerphones (Jabra, Poly, …) and they were all unsatisfactory for my need. I needed a setup without headphones for day-to-day business calls. Although I tested speakerphones in a range up to three hundred euros, none were good enough. This microphone out of the box gives perfect clarity and natural sound to the listening public. In combination with its software and VST plugins it is the perfect solution for my needs. I use it in conjunction with a small Poly speaker and it works great. I am using a pop filter but soon plan to buy an Elgato LP mic arm and vibration diffuser.

This is hands down a really good mic for beginners and enthusiasts on who want a high end-mid range mic. The reason why this mic is flexible with its audio is because the Solocast or Hypercast which are also pretty good mics do not offer any software support directly from their end and the Wave 3 has Elgato software directly built in so you could directly just plug and play with your stream or even any calls. This also has a really good pickup pattern, when I was using it it could hear with all the ‘warmth’ and clarity in my voice from a decent distance away unlike other mics I have tried. I loved that the connectivity on the wave 3 is a direct USB-C port and it also has a direct monitoring 3.5mm jack which provides crystal clear audio with no delay if you need monitoring. The whole mic is made of metal and is very sturdy and suppresses those weird low frequencies picked up from your computer fans or background noise. This mic however doesn’t have noise cancelling i.e. picking up echo or loud noises from outside your window or door. Overall its a really good mic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good mics at this price range.
