Very happy with this lock. We had to start locking our yard gate at night a few years ago (we live in Seattle…ugh…) and the old key lock was a pain, especially when it would freeze up in the winter. This electronic lock has been awesome for the 6 months we have had it. We only use the PIN code feature. When it’s not on the gate, we lock it to another spot on the fence, so it gets unlocked 2 to 4 times per day and the battery lost about 50% of charge in 6 months.

This Smartlock exceeded my expectations. It is well designed and supports many ways to open it, including a temporary passcode that is generated from the companion App and is valid for 10 minutes. Battery life is excellent if the specifications are correct and if all else fails, there is a mechanical key. This is a very good product.
