A lot of ports! But not a USB Audio Device (e.g. for PS4/PS5)
Having tried and tested 3 other soundbars, there’s a lot to discuss so let’s get straight to it. I bought a USB to USB wire just to test the device but it doesn’t work that way sadly, it’s USB media input only.Sound Quality: Really good! Not “Tinny”. The other soundbars I’ve tested were 15W, but this is 30W and it’s correctly double the power or more. It’s feels like it has the power of a standard TV with strong bass, you can feel the vibrations easily. The only issue is through certain connections e.g. AUX In is often the worst connection in terms of quality, getting interference from anything (when USBs are plugged in), it had a strong hiss with the Nintendo Switch, but nothing very noticable with other devices surprisingly. Please see the video attached with me playing the Samsung Tune, where it got uncomfortably loud despite being instrumental.Connectivity: There’s so many ports on this thing that I couldn’t test them all – Soundbars are usually for PC owners or Console Gamers with monitor setups. So for modern monitors, there could be HDMI-Arc / COAX/OPT Audio options, but I couldn’t test these options. I was really hoping that this device acted like a Universal USB Speaker, so consoles/PC can auto-detect it when plugged in via USB, unfortunately this isn’t the case. So let me list out the devices that I’ve tried:• Samsung S9 – AUX In, perfect audio.• PS5 – Incompatible unless through TV Audio (No OPT port/No HDMI Arc port) – Didn’t test through PS5 controller as you wouldn’t want to wire yourself to the soundbar.• PS4 – OPT Port Available but not tested (didn’t notice it, sorry!)• Switch – Bluetooth Audio is perfect! No lag whatsoever. AUX In is horrible, constant fuzz (see video).• PC (Bluetooth) – Has a half a second lag between video and audio, so not great there. But if (AUX In), zero lag, and sound quality is okay.• 4K Monitor (AUX In) – Good audio.Physical Build:This device is twice the thickness of my 15W soundbar and feels sturdy. It has rubber gromits to hold it firm to the table/desk and the shiny gloss at the top makes it look very professional. The buttons are kind of hard to see since everything is black, but I don’t like unnecessary lighting anyway. The plug however has a blue LED that’s always on. Speaking of the buttons they are rubber and to my dismay, the volume controls are through these PLUS and MINUS buttons. I didn’t test the Remote as I am always within arm’s reach of the Soundbar so this was not for my use-case.Disadvantages:• Needs AC power – because it’s 30W, it can’t run on USB power alone. I tried! It does light up, and even connects through Bluetooth but no Audio is outputted. But with certain 15W devices, all you need is a USB and there’s immediately less cable management.• That PLUS and MINUS volume control. I really disliked this type of volume switch, this was the same problem I had with another design that I reviewed, you can fortunately hold this button to make it louder and quieter but it’s hard to know when you start/stop. You cannot lower volume in a pinch which is what I hate, yes the remote has a mute function but sometimes you just want to be able to fine tune it in a pinch.• USB Compatibility – I don’t know how other cheaper Soundbars did it, it must be a chip inside but recognising Audio Devices simply by plugging in USB is a Godsend – it’s a real shame this device doesn’t have it considering the price point so it didn’t help my main purpose for the device, the PS5.• Bluetooth (PC) Lag – Most other soundbars I tested also suffered from this issue, but I was shocked to see the Switch’s bluetooth handling responsive audio perfectly, there must be something firmware-wise that causes that split second lag (thus losing a star). But in any case, I suspect people would want to use Bluetooth for cable management so this could be a deal-breaker for PC users.Advantages:• Sound Loudness – This is what people buy soundbars for, pure volume. It’s really good in terms of that! But way more than sufficient for a room size of 3m x 3m. I’m very happy with my 15W soundbar for this size of room.• Ports – Although I couldn’t test them all, having the options and knowing there are backups can be a relief. Everything seems compatible with Bluetooth these days and there were no connection dropouts during my testing.Summary:If you don’t mind wires, and want an extra oomph to sound, then this is the soundbar for you. Firstly you need power, and secondly you’re more than likely to need something wired to get perfect sync’d audio for videos. If you’re bringing this just for background music then it’s perfect!But if you’re in a small room and maybe you just want to hook up a PS5, I wouldn’t choose this model for simplicity’s sake. You’ll need to hook it through the Monitor or TV’s sound output to which I hope you have one!

Great value sound bar
I’ve just got a new TV for the spare room in time for the new football season and wanted something to give the sound a bit of a boost. I’ve paired this with a Samsung 32 inch TV, and, as it’s for the spare room which is small, I didn’t want anything too big, or too expensive.I’m not the world’s biggest audiophile, but as much as the TV screens are great, these days, the inbuilt speakers are always a bit of a compromise.I ordered this as it hit my key requirements in terms of size and budget. I decided against spending a kings ransom on a big name brand. And…so far, so good!It’s early days, so can’t comment on longevity but I can say that out of the box it was easy to set up and I’ve been impressed with sound produced. I’m using Bluetooth which was easy to set up, but it comes with both audio and optical wires too. I may switch to the optical wire when the brackets I’ve ordered to attach it to the TV screen arrive but for now I prefer minimal wires so Bluetooth it is.Of course this isn’t going to give you the array of gizmos you’ll get if you are spending on a high end model, but if you want something that’s easy, does what it says on the tin, and for a good price, then I’d recommend it.So far, the sound has been good when watching movies and sport, which is what it will mainly be used for. It looks good, is solid, without being too heavy, and is quite subtle without power lights to interrupt the view.The remote, as you’d expect, is pretty basic and functional, but it offers all the basics you need in terms of on and off, volume up/down, mute, changing from movie to music mode etc. All very simple and easy.I’ve added some pictures to show the ‘unboxing’ contents and will update when I’ve attached it to the TV, when the brackets I’ve ordered arrive.Overall I’m really pleased with this and for my main objectives it hits the spot perfectly.

Won’t work with HD
Did not produce any sound with HD Freeview channels or streaming apps, such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix etc. This may be because mine was faulty or it has not been designed to cope with the different sound coding that HD channels use, such as Dolby Digital. I tried it with HDMI arc and an Optical cable but it was the same for both. It works ok with SD channels, but the sound is little better than the tv speakers, which are not great. It is a budget soundbar so don’t expect too much for the price. I returned mine and will be looking for something more up market.

Acheté pour une connaissance qui vit à l’étranger. Celui-ci est très content, non seulement par la puissance délivrée en fonction de sa taille mais aussi par la connectique et câbles fourni par le vendeur. Convient aussi bien pour la tv que sur bureau pour un ordinateur. En dehors des touches de présélections de sons,la possibilité de modifier indépendamment les basses ou les aigues. Fait son job pour un son assez agéable.

For the price it’s ok connects to Bluetooth e very easily.
