WF-2950: Easy setup, no issues, Iâm impressed
Arrived yesterday so this is an early review. Will update if I have any issues within the next 6 months.I chose this model printer primarily due to the relative few bad reviews, size, price, Apple AirPrint compatibility and next day delivery as I have urgent docs to sign and post asap. Epsom market this model as a small business printer, not in their home printer range so I expect it to be more durable. So far Iâm not disappointed .From unboxing to printing my first document it took just under an hour. The setup was easy, just scan the QR code to download the app then follow instructions on the app. Connecting to Wi-Fi via my BT router was quick and faultless via the app. Most of the time was taken up setting the printing quality but again just follow the instructions and allâs fine. Iâm using the demo ink cartridges and laser A4 80gm paper from work, which seems to work well. The screen is too small for me to read the text but not an issue with my reading glasses which Iâm always wearing when at my computer. Itâs not touch-screen but the buttons either side are large so no issues navigating the screen to get to the functions and settings even with my fat fingers.Itâs not silent but not so noisy that it would interrupt an online meeting. B&W printing isnât fast so not useful for printing large numbers of pages unless youâre in no hurry. No paper tray but it has a paper feeder at the back which is currently holding about 30 sheets and looks like it can take twice that much. Print collector at the front is functional but flimsy; donât let the cat near it.I have printed docs via Wi-Fi using both my iPhone 12 and HP Elite laptop without installing additional software.I have not tried the copy and scan functions yet so will update if/when I do. Iâve not set up the fax function as I donât have a landline.First impressions are faultless and exceed my expectations. Fingerâs crossed it stays that way.Just one thing I just realised while taking the photos; the Print Counter seems to count sheets, not sides, so if you print double-sided it will count 1.

Constant paper feed issues.
Definitely an improvement on my useless HP printer. However, brand new out of the box, I’m having frustrating issues with the paper feed. It consistently says it is blocked or out of paper EVERY time I try to print. There is no blockage, and it is not out of paper. I’m using standard A4 white printer paper. It takes a good 15 minutes of putting the paper in and out before it accepts that there is paper and it is not blocked. This means it is impossible to send something to print unless you are with the printer and printing in a hurry is off the cards. When it does accept the paper, the paper is occassionally pulled through at an angle. At least this printer connects to the WiFi and stays connected (so far), something HP have yet to accomplish!

Great printer
I needed a printer for all the photos of my children that I have on disc. It was fairly easy to set up with instructions at each step displayed on the panel. Unlike other reviews, I had no problems connecting it to the Internet, it found mine straight away. I found it easier to connect to my phone first and then add it to my laptop which was a breeze. I’ve only printed one letter which was perfect and one photo which I think is too light but I suppose it’s trial and error with anything new, I will go through the manual as see if I can rectify the problem through the different settings. The ink cartridges are easy to put into place and are far cheaper to buy than some I’ve seen. I did buy an xl set of ink cartridges which were reccomended by Amazon at checkout for £15, although I’ve not used them yet as Epson reccomend that you use the ones that came with the printer first. Overall a great printer at a good price.Would I reccomend to other buyers? 100% yes.

Epsom printer
Excellent printer, Iâve had an older model and was happy with this, and happy with is upgraded one. Easy to use and fab options it has, quick to print and fab quality.

Don’t Buy It! Save your money and sanity.
Fiest and last time buying Epson!Looks nice, but don’t buy it! I have had nothing but problems with it. Plus, replacement cartridges start at £30 and don’t last long at all, so it is a colossal waste of money. Issues with print quality, maddening notifications every time I wanted to print something and the WiFi worked when it felt like it. Not reliable at all! Felt like throwing it through a window many times. Now going to chuck it in the bin and buy a decent printer.

Printer
All in one printer, works as desired. The only downside is the paper tray where you put the paper doesn’t hold that many.

Great improvement on my old non-wifi model
Needed a replacement for my ancient Epson which died. The price was good as was delivery speed. Downloaded the app and setup was fairly easy. The little screen was not too easy to see with my bad eyesight but with the app, no problem. Print quality good even for photos and with wifi I can print even if Iâm not in the same room.

Does what it says….
Bought to replace a much more expensive Epson scanner/printer. Easy to set up using Epson app to connect to WiFi.Inks are a lot cheaper than previous printer, how long they last only time will tell. Print speed is perfectly acceptable in monochrome, not tried colour as yet
