The silicone outer layer is top quality and is very ‘springy’, so no matter how many twists and kinks you may get it into, it springs back to a beautifully straight cable when the twists are released.The straight 1/4-inch jack connectors are of high quality and are firmly secured.Although this cable is quite pricey, it’s quality and the renowned Ernie Ball brand more than make up for the difference.A highly recommended buy. Ernie Ball is always a safe buy no matter what it is.It’s a tad thinner than your run-of-the-mill cable, it’s extremely flexible, the jacks are magnificent, the sound quality is great, and it’s just altogether built well. The price was great ($19 at the moment) but then went up to $25 after I bought it, but it’s still worth it at that price. The length of 10′ is fine if you’re just playing at home but if you’re playing out then I suggest you dou Le up and get at least 20′.
